Big ups to Algeria man they fuckin hung in there. Would have loved to see them win. Made the Germans sweat that is for sure. I have a feeling that win just made Germany even more dangerous. Those tough gritty wins are always a good thing.

I was impressed how well much of German players finished the game. Muller ran as if he just got in.

Both Algeria and Nigeria had goals in the first half that were called off because they were about a half a yard offsides. If they could have stayed onside for those goals, we would probably have a Nigeria v. Algeria quarterfinal.

But both Germany and France picked up the pressure as the matches progressed. Algeria did a better job defending than Nigeria and that's why they made it to Extra time. But they still ultimately ran out of gas and were basically The Walking Dead the final 20-25 minutes.
