I actually only watch the TV show, and was gonna read the books after, but if the tv show does get ahead, that would be a glorious day.

All the times I had to avoid spoilers like the plague, the tables would be turned.

I'm so angry about the Germany game. What a disappointment. Fucking Lööööööw. I can't wait for him to leave. What is he doing with that team? I don't know. That defense is one hot mess. You can't win shit with Höwedes and Mustafi. Bring Lahm back to the defense, replace Höwedes with Großkreutz and we got a game. And leave fucking Khedira out of it too. Oh my god. And there is still Özil. Creative maestro?? wat. He is a ghost. I don't care if he scored yesterday. Considering his "potential" he should be a way bigger threat for the enemy. Where are his passes?

Kroos is on the same level of shit already. Already plays like a Manchester player. A lot of average passes here and there. He is just some hot mess. He was at Bayern. And he still is for Germany.
 
looking forward to the argentina vs switzerland game. obviously they'll have to be more organized than vs france with the goat on the loose but with the right defensive mentality and shakira and drmic on the counter i think they'll really test argentina.

song is probably far and away the highest paid member of that cameroon squad with his barca contract, so i'd be kinda surprised if he was behind it. then again he's either a moron who risks his career to take match fixing money or a moron who pointlessly elbows someone in a world cup match so who knows.

Lahm is playing his worst tournament ever. He simply doesn´t belong on the pitch in his current form. Müller is ineffective, should only come in as a joker, Klose needs to start, badly.
We can only hope and pray Hummels is fit for France...

Yep should be a good one.

Unless somehow Argentina have magically sorted their defending out, otherwise it should be quite a lot of goals in that game considering Argentina's attack and then considering their defending.

3 goal average is dead in the round of 16..said this yesterday and I will say it again teams are scared of fucking up so expect more defensive strategy, more parking the bus style of football.
 
A bit conflicted who to cheer for tonight. As a Belgian I want my country to win of course but I also love Gaf and wouldn't want to miss the exctasy if the US makes it.
Oh well, I'll get something out of it whoever wins.

Got a feeling the Swiss might surprise Argentina today, they looked very sharp in their last match against Honduras and apart from Mesi, Argentina is pretty mediocre.

So the evidence they are using is a really accurate prediction some world cup fraudster made. Isn't it a bit to late to mention something like this if it is true. FIFA should have been notified the instant the first match was over or as late as the end of the second match and not like a couple of days ago. I hope they actually have a legit reason for doing this and not to blame their losses on something else that may be.I found the link I posted like half an hour ago while surfing on cbc and I found the story ridiculous when I first found it and I still do.

You can actually blame the nationalist, neoliberal conservatives for that. (Well, I guess every political party was to blame)

Ethically Belgium is the conservative USA's worst nightmare. (Gay marriage, abortion, euthanasia, massive health care and social security system, atheïsts galore (they are closing churches atm). If we wouldn't have that stupid Flemish-nationalistic, populist belch at the moment, it would be close to the best country in the world, despite, or more so, because of it's surrealistic tendencies)

Tonight, we'll probably be the worst nightmare on the football field too. (I do hope so)

It's just good we have beer, chocolate and french (BELGIAN!) fries, or you guys would probably hate us forever :P
