What a great game of football this was for the neutral fan. Incredible games. I was sad too see Switzerland go and even though I was rooting for Belgium at first I'm incredible sad to see the USA go as well. Oh well, awesome games!

The problem with the US players is that they did not have the hunger from the beginning. I felt they were very pedestrian for most of the match.

Well in the end Freedom was defeated but we played a clearly superior Belgium team to the end of extra time. The Crying Eagles left everything on the field today and can walk away with their heads held high.

US showed a lot of heart at the end. Brutal to go out yet again in the 16 in extra time but yeah. They have some great young players to look forward to who will improve and get more experience by the next WC. Just gotta hope players remain healthy. The loss of Altidore was just huge and had a major impact on Dempsey and Bradley. They need to develop more good young offensive players.

The Belgians were by far the better team for the first 105 minutes, so they deserved it. But that American heart in the last 15 minutes, that fucking HEART! Thought I was going to have a heart attack.
