Important to note that Yedlin is a homegrown player out of the Sounders academy. MLS academies are much younger than similar ones found in other nations. We are taking all the right steps when it comes to developing our youngsters and improving the domestic league. We are not there yet but we keep making positive strides.

Good post. I really know very little about the other leagues outside of the US. I follow MLS and get really into the US international matches but that's about the extent of it for me. I know a lot of the top players around the world but I'd like to get into and learn more about the European leagues and whatnot.
