All ya'll who are saying today's pics suck are crazy. These are awesome... especially that trophy of X. I can't *wait* to see the HD Mega Man trophies in the Wii U version.

I'm not surprised by the trophies. One thing I've learned to count on with Sakurai is that if it's a character that appears in Smash, there will be a trophy explaining what it is, no matter how brief the cameo. So when Mega Man's Final Smash was unveiled, I figured we'd get trophies explaining each incarnation of Mega Man.
Imagine the butthurt if they removed Mega Man's helmet but not Link's cap in his SS alt that everyone was complaining about.

Not necessarily, since the Ultimate Chimera and the Balloon Fight fish didn't get any trophies in Brawl. This, of course, means that Mega Man Volnutt will get the shaft once again.

Ehh I don't think so. I'm thinking a classic 8 bit Megaman and a helmetless Megaman are the most likely candidates.

Not sure what your point is. I never said I didn't have a clear pro-Mega Man bias.
The tough thing about something like Helmetless Mega Man or Lucina Marth is that they have the same costume, and it might be confusing if someone was say Marth and another was Lucina Marth. There should be a toggle for some outfits that allow you to pick that color, but choose certain options (No Helmet Mega Man, No Hat Mario, Marth with Lucina mask etc.) That way your color is locked, so you won't be confused.

Yes Sakurai those models are so good they should be trophies.
You know what makes it worse? They could've worked as assist trophies had they not been in a Final Smash

Nintendo didn't forget; the Dragmire name was probably never canon to begin with. It was only in the US Link to the Past manual - not in the actual game or in the Japanese manual.

You know what makes it worse? They could've worked as assist trophies had they not been in a Final Smash
I would've used them for that, alts, and anything else if Capcom gave me the go ahead to what looks like all their Megastuff lol

Then I'd wager that, if we don't get Snake tomorrow, we don't get him at all. He's probably one of the more American characters of the cast of Smash Bros. So an American holiday is a good reason for its reveal.
