I've never played Halo before. I got X360 now and going to buy X1 on September 5th.
I saw some writings about at local forums and some of the guys said "You may like it or not it's something differen". I really did not understand what did he wanted to say. Can you help me guy. What does Halo like ?

Anyway, to answer the question I... think... you're asking, Halo's kind of a hybrid tactical/arena shooter. If all you've played is COD, it may take some getting used to.

Tactical/arena shooter is one I never heard of describing Halo, but somewhat accurate. You can't just go blazing in. Also, it's not a bunch of tight corridors but more open spaces, hence why he called it an "arena shooter".

I think story elements are important but after the story finished I'll spend probably 200+Hrs on multiplayer. I'm student and I don't have money to buy games frequently. 1game/2mnts

I thought the analyze thing from CEA was pretty cool and I wouldn't mind seeing something similar in h2a.
Also have they announced if the analysis/library thing is returning to CEA in the mcc?

I'd like to see a smartglass-enabled custom games browser, and the scan feature from CEA. That's about it; not much room for much else.

Not expecting any kinect integration in MCC but smartglass might happen. Halo 5 should definitely have both. They have said it many times, it will use Xbox One to fullest. And not just graphics wise, but all the feature it offers. It will be interesting to see what they can do.

Has there been any mention on if draw distances in H3 are being improved for the collection? Draw distances on geometry were very high, but for NPCs, bodies, objects and so on it was rather low.
Only if it's the same video just with redubs and bad overlay graphic edits for maximum tongue-in-cheekness

I wonder how nostalgic it is for Frankie to be marketing Halo 2 again.
I now remember how I always wanted to go back to the Bungie Weekly Updates and piece together all of the subtle hints and references to things that were 'redacted' and not allowed to be revealed until a later date.
Seems like Frank was always teasing with "Just drove a new vehicle/played with a new weapon, but I can't reveal any specifics."
I even remember him strongly hinting towards the Drinol creature in Halo 2, but it was ultimately cut. I always wondered how far it got before being removed.

If you guys already conversed about this i apologize for bringing it back up. Apparently in the Halo Waypoint forum it's confirmed there will be some sort of bridge mechanic in the new Halo 2 Anniversary Coagulation.

The only thing i can think of that would make sense is maybe each base has water around it in some way, and the only way for a team to get vehicles to the base is to activate a bridge switch? Just a guess.

Saw that in the bulletin; hadn't considered the idea of a moat, though. I think people were speculating that they might bridge two of the ridges. Anyway, I've said it before and I'll say it again: I love interactive maps. Having a bridge switch sounds awesome, pending implementation of course.

Took some shots of Halo 2 on PC a couple months back. I am impressed by how good it still looks with my AA solution. The anniversary edition will be really cool with the new models and textures.

I liked his ramblings on the day to day of 343. Made it more personal.The images in that thread's OP are from the oXbox version, not 360 (there's a pretty significant different in IQ).
...The way the images are cropped and zoomed is a bizarre way to present the original game.

I won't be able to do them until Sunday or Monday as I don't have access to my main PC at the moment. It may also take a bit to set it up with the same AA configuration (I may try something different); but once I get home and set it up, no problem.
