Neuer is a cunt but his tournament was perfect. I can't remember a single mistake by him and he's has been good in every match. The best German player - Hummels was weak today, Kroos disappointed, too; Müller had no bad match but some were only decent - so give him the golden ball thing. Messi was good but not good enough.

Still disappointed Großkreutz wasn't subbed. He was ready and everything, waiting to come on the pitch I bet Draxler feels 10x more World Championly than him, because he played like seven minutes.

I have to say, thank you Argentina for making this one of the most thrilling and best WC finals ever. Best game of them in the WC by far and it made the final game exciting to watch until the very last minute. Even if i now have a lot more gray hairs.

Messi is still one of the greatest to ever play the game. He really does deserve a world cup championship before all is said and done, and I really thought this could be his time, but it just wasn't meant to be. Damn shame he didn't have Di Maria in there to help him. I think it would have made the difference.

Historically, that always happens with the world's best player.

IMO, the "problem" is Messi is not and most probably never will be at the same level than Maradona or Pelé. Those two guys were able to turn around matches with their supreme talent, Messi is almost there, but that almost factor prevents him from doing it.

I feel sorry for him when I see so many argentinians trashing him.
