I've never seen somebody with that much lack of general culture as Dan.

I would expect that from a 15 years old, not a 30y old.

I love the stuff he does on the site and he was the best choice for the new hire. I just don't like ignorant trolls.

Hell I don't even care about Soccer myself. I watch 4 weeks of soccer every 4 years. Still, I don't go around shitting on the fans.

It's just a bad example of trolling.

I was just asking because your two most recent posts in this thread have been insulting the dude pretty harshly. I don't think he was trolling, he was just expressing his opinion of soccer/football which is not a popular one.
 
I think Dan is just learning that Giant Bomb has a bigger international audience than Game Informer , so the 'I hate international things cus murica' bit isn't gonna fly as much. Hopefully by now he has learnt this.

Didn't we already have this discussion a couple of weeks ago? Anyways, he deleted his tweets so probably took the criticism to heart.

Anyways, Xenonauts looks fucking rad. I have no idea how or why I hadn't heard of that game, X-COM was my jam back in the day.

Oh snap, tomorrow is Cannon Brawl quick look! I love Worms and Gunbound, and both Dan and Brad have mentioned that Cannon Brawl is great. Looking forward to the QL! If i like what they show i will be quick to pick it up.

You should checkout the video from Gamespot where Danny plays a betting match with the help of the devs. Amazing comeback lol. I'm on the phone so can't link but it's great.
 
I love the World Cup, but I also do love a good bit of trolling. However, if you're gonna do it, put some effort in, trolling is an art. Both Dan and Drake were amateur hour, Ryan would have fucking schooled them at it.
 
Ah found it. There's a small discussion on the GB forums right now. You know his account is on the main feed on the site. Imagine being a fan, reading GB content and then see this stuff pop up on the main site? Good job.

Edit: He apologized. Maybe forced to? In any case, good on him. Old GI Dan wouldn't give a damn...I'm glad he realizes that he's gotta be careful.

Also, really sub-par response on the reverse trolling. Of course you're gonna get wrestling tweets, ignore them and hit back harder.

Dan needs to step up his game if he's serious about this.
