Lucina has her own character slot on the website, so probably not IMO. Robin is the main character of Fire Emblem: Awakening, and the reason there are gendered versions is because you could choose Robin's gender.

Lucina is a separate character from Marth although many have speculated she is a clone of Marth with similiar moveset.

Robin is the protagonist from Fire Emblem Awakening and in that game (s)he is supposed to be your avatar so you can choose the gender among customizing other things.

Thats pretty cool, really liking that Villager and Robin have female alts (and likely PacMan, unless there are licensing shenanigans)

Robin is your custom character, a main character in FE:A.
Lucina and Chrom are the other two main characters.

We can give it a pass on it failing to mention one or two newcomers but not 3, imo. Also being outright incorrect basically disproves it. Even if it WAS right 2+ years ago when they learned about the initial proposed roster, it makes it WRONG now since what the leaker proposed is no longer correct anymore. So maybe it was a legitimate leak once upon a time but it's not longer relevant and that's what matters.

Sure glad people didn't do this with the Pokémon X/Y leaks...

You can do that.... Did you watch the Nintendo Digital event (E3 show). If your talking about inside those respective games probably take more work. Wouldn't totally count out since Smash tends to be content packed.

By the looks of it her moves from the trailer were the same as Marth's. It's probably a Ganondorf scenario. Same animations, different properties.

Lightnig is a character a alot of people actually dislike , but the creator kept forcing on people because of his obvious obsession with the character.


People then started comparing lighting to characters, they didn't like rather than the criteria. Exposing themselves as minorities in whatever fan base they are in, and out of touch with the larger fan base.

Now people just call popular characters people hate on lighting in jest of that, rather than its original intent to make fun of toriyama's fantasies. Its a joke that became another joke to make fun of people who do not know where they stand.

In the end, someone (or many) people out there are happy that Lucina got in. What about them? But no because you didnt get King K Rool or some shit, it is a waste.

I mean I could lose my shit because Toadsworth doesn't make it and blame it on Greninja. I would look like a tool if I did that.

It doesn't work that way. We don't always get what we want. and any character added is good as long as someone wanted it. That how I look at it atleast. Someone out there is getting exactly what they wanted and that is what this game is about


( fun fact: I had to use Toadsworth as an example because I pretty much got every character I wanted w/ Sonic and Megaman making it in lol....so maybe that's why I'm not raging lol)

I'm getting less and less optimistic for Shulk getting added. I love Takahashi and his Xeno- series, but I don't really know what Shulk would bring to the table at this point.

We have speedy blade user, slow blade user, magic/blade user now. Shulk's attacks on the whole just seem sorta like a generic. I would rather have someone like Reyn hopping into the frey than another sword user. Maybe I'm wrong, but I suppose we'll see... the best I can imagine is the Mondao's different modes being attacks, but as for his general attacks, none of them really stand out for me versus the other guys. They would be far better served using another character from Xenoblade.

I'm wondering if Lucina being a Marth clone sorta brings Roy back in the game.
Sorta like Lucario turned into the new Mewtwo, maybe Lucina as a Marth clone works as a filling for Roy, which solve many problems that fans asked for AND brings a new, much more recognizable character.

I find it very funny when people after the reveal started posting "NO MOAR CLONES" and "NO LUCINA GIBE ROY", as if Roy wasn't a clone himself, lol.

Mother Brain would be good too if they could find a way.

Those are really the Metroid big three: Ridley is the most common boss in the series, Dark Samus and Mother Brain are iconic main villains. Everyone else is either a minor character or Adam Malkovich, and nobody wants Adam Malkovich.

Dark Samus and Mother Brain are confirmed for assist trophies, and Ridley looks like he'll be a boss, so we probably won't have any new Metroid characters unless Sakurai really expects me to buy a game with Adam Malkovich in it.

Robin is a character with a customizable name, appearance, and voice, but with a set personality and role in the story who serves as a tritagonist along with Chrom and Lucina.

...Actually, I guess it's more like he/she's a deuteragonist with Chrom, while Lucina is a supporting character.
