A good season in the nba as the mvp overtaking the best season by an NFL QB ever?

Okay. ESPN. I guess he already got his tonight but still

Didn't play like the best when it actually mattered most.

Yep, what I was thinking. No big deal, just the greatest season for a QB in the NFL ever.

Sure, in the current pass-happy NFL with rules that greatly favor the QB and offense in general.

Peyton had a great year, but it was all YAC and offensive lineman who should get the credit for him this year. Dude is a shell of his former self physically and the award (as voted by the fans) is for best athlete.

KD carried the Thunder til YNB came back.

Mayweather fixes his fights like WWE

Miggy had a down year

KD deserved it out of that group, but LBJ not even being nominated is funny. ESPN feeling dissed by his lack of interview for ESPN

Do you really care about these awards? I mean Peyton seems less salty than you, and he's the one that actually did it!

Peyton's going to the Hall of Fame and is going in as one of the best QBs of all time. ESPYs whatttt

Drake is the hip hop game Nick Cannon

I'm kinda envious of both of them tbh.

Wouldn't have minded the UCONN girls winning it actually, if only for the surprise.

Edit: what the FUCK is that gold colored atrocity being worn on stage? The one with the shorts.

were there any niners involved in the espys? and if so are there any gifs or vids of them? need to have some material for my nightly before-bed jerk off session

Did OKC beat the Heat in the finals this year?

This makes sense. You're right. All around athlete, I can agree KD hands down. Individually he outshined everyone. You are the best retort to my remark. Thank you, sir.

Not salty at all actually. Not a fan of any of these guys, really. The above quote reminded why it makes sense. Good attempt at finding salt tho :P

are we only counting playoffs? kap has more road playoff wins in a year and a half than brady has in his entire career so.... yeah

Actually he doesn't. Brady has played six road games in his playoff career and has three wins, Kaep has played four and won three. So yeah, you're wrong bro.

He didn't have a great year. He had a historical year. The greatest single season of an NFL Quarterback ever thus far. Sure he threw some noodles here and there, but he also threw down the field deep when necessary. It wasn't all linemen either. Clark was an okay replacement for Clady, but not good enough. Beadles was simply okay, same with Manny. Vasquez is one of the best in the league, and Franklin played very well in the majority of the games. The thing that I think you fail to understand is that Manning disguises plenty of line flaws. He gets the ball out quick enough that he doesn't have to be mobile. It makes the line look better than they are. They are a good line cumulatively, but Peyton makes them that much better.

As far as YAC, yes there was plenty of that. Peyton Manning was 17th in league in terms of YAC in 2013, and 55% of his total yards came in the air versus 45% YAC. So you are wrong there.

He might not have the guns of Favre, but he still has enough power to get the ball where it needs to be and on time.

actually he does. none of brady's pre-2007 playoff wins count due to cheating so there you go

p.s.

tom brady lost to mark sanchez at home in the playoffs

yeah he did have a historical year. it was the biggest superbowl blowout since 1993. unfortunately for peypey he doesn't own the broncos superbowl record for biggest blowout though :(

...And you all laughed when I said KD is the best player in the world. Winning the ESPY for Best Male Athlete just proves this as a fact.

Two things that helped Peyton:
His line, and his insanely good (until it mattered in the super bowl) receivers.
image.php

and Strength of Schedule(lowest % at the start of the 2013 season):
Denver Broncos
.430
110-146-0

What Peyton did was cool and all, but Tim Tebow performed in that offense. Too much credit is going to Peyton, he's a fantasy dream, but he's not the same Peyton anymore.
