PSN was really not prepared for this. Hope it's not this shitty on launch.

I'm prepared for it to be worse. MMO's on PC never launch cleanly, and that's without the added infrastructure of PSN or Xbox Live to muck things up. It is what it is at this point, just hope the downtime is minimal.

Currently waiting for a PS4 notification to pop, digital preorder. Was skeptical about the process and remain so but if it works as intended hopefully it'll be relatively painless to start downloading.

The actual download doesn't start until you launch the app on your PS4. The file from PSN is super small, there's no actual game data there.

Restore your licenses in (I think) the system menu. Usually fixes that error.

Hmm...so I got my code, redeemed it, then downloaded the Beta - "update" and all - in about 4 seconds...it won't let me in though. Says there is a problem with my PSN or connection.

Peculiar...13.5gb in 4 seconds is impossible. Wondering if I didn't get the right file.

I think it is going to do background downloads maybe as my downloaded fast too so even though we got it we are now at the whim of crappy PSN.

So after bungie going dead finally got the code. Then PS Store dying finally got to redeem, then go to press confirm and get hit with the maintenance once again. Then i check my downloads and its not there. Check my library and...........my library is undergoing maintenance.

PSA: If your download seems to stop short. Don't panic. If you go to Destiny Beta on XMB, options, and then look at Information, you'll see that you are indeed downloading the game.
