Missed the content this week, really trying to finish that Persona 4 ER but want to play Destiny as well. A good problem to have. Anything notable this week?

I can't get my head around Dan, he knows what the Parthenon is and can recognise it from a 8bit rendering, yet didn't know about the Africa campaign in WWII and did not know what Drag Racing is.

It's entirely possible his minor in history focused on ancient history and not modern history. Would explain why he recognizes Greek ruins.

History, after all, is a rather deep subject.

His politically incorrect jokes always crack me up. Dudes mind is just scrambled, he just rambles on and on if you let him, its great.

Not having driven, eaten or seen anything ever is kinda weird.
 
The thing I love about Rorie, besides him just coming across like a very nice, genuine guy (both in GB content and in his actual community manager role) is that he only knows things to the extremes. He either knows nothing about a topic or he has a sage-like knowledge of the topic. He can tell you all about World of Warcraft and the filmographies of several Hollywood stars but he won't know that Ireland isn't part of the UK or how to pronounce simple words. And on that note, from the GB wiki, this may explain things:

Incapable of pronouncing the name "Edgar". He inexplicably pronounces it "Edjer". He once claimed he would often purposely pronounce words wrong to bother Alex. Alex has chided him several times for his pronunciation, so it's possible this is the case.

Alex has been really good lately, I agree with the earlier comment about his previous LA appearances may have been him trying to fit in a little bit too much. He only gets to see his friends a few times a year, maybe that leads to him becoming a bit more overbearing or whatever. Now he's doing regular stuff with Vinny, he seems a lot more relaxed. Good stuff!

I remember not liking Rorie at first, but since being on a few podcasts, quick looks, UPF and his fantastic community management I find him great.

The only thing is, I find his love of dogs odd, because I hate dogs.
