Bandana Waddle Dee is the last major Kirby character not playable. Other than having a fairly generic name, there's a lot they could do to make a unique character, and within Kirby characters extremely unique. A Kirby character without multiple jumps would be fairly unique.

King Dedede also doesn't throw Waddle Dees anymore, as they would be visually confusing, but in Smash Run it's not much of a problem as there's one character and quite possibly Waddle Dees may not even show for for BWD in Smash Run if it's hard to make them distinct.

Just not out of the realm of possibility.

Before Brawl, I remember I had a pretty lengthy GameFaqs thread one time where I pretended to have access to a leaked Japanese guide.

In fact, I found a post on NeoGAF where people were discussing my leak. This was way before I was a member on NeoGAF, of course...hmm, that's not a bannable offense, right? Something I did on another forum, before I was a member, being taken for truth on here?

I remember throwing in Stanley the Bug Man as the real WTF!? choice...still sort of want that to happen

A few posts down there's also the fake translation of the Ness article I made up and people took it as truth.

They could have had a similar deal as Sonic, you give me Rayman in Smash and we give you x number of exclusives. Ubi dropped their end of the bargain, so would Nintendo.

Honestly if the toggle says "Advanced Mechanics" or something, with a tooltip about "Enables advanced techniques. Recommended for high skill players" and it's entirely possible. It doesn't literally have to say "ENABLE L CANCELLING: CHECK HERE"

As ridiculous and silly as the 'toggle l-cancels/wavedashing' stuff and some other things sound, the biggest thing to me is this:

Although in the past he has told me that he will not provide any information about that project until it was officially revealed for the sake of his job, as he was recently fired over a dispute with his co workers, he has now decided to share some of the information about the upcoming game with me, on the condition that, should I put the information on the internet, that I not state his name specifically.

Giving your actual name, and giving the fact that your friend is a recently fired audio engineer at Bamco... at that point you've already outed the person.

Besides that, most/all of the information seems too specific/convenient.

I would like for all this to be true, but this really reads up like a Smash board (in general) member's wet dream. Stuff like every character having a "secret combination move" when we're already getting 9 move variations (and new ones for certain characters) and a Giygas stage? Toggle-able game mechanics so causals and competitives can live in harmony? C'mon man.
