PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | July 2014

PCH-1100 AA01 is the initial batch (first 500K units) of Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Limited Edition that comes bundled with NTT Docomo's Prepaid Data Plan 100h (worth about 5,000yen).
PCH-1100 AB01 is the Vita 3G/Wi-Fi Limited Edition that comes bundled with NTT Docomo's Prepaid Data Plan 20h (worth about 1,000yen).
Otherwise, they're both the same.

Thank you very much!

Has anyone played Ys: Oath in Felghana and can answer my second question? I love this game but the last boss is driving me crazy!

Looks good

I need it!

Im pretty sure you can go back out after the second last boss (Dark Bishop) as long as you dont take the exit down. So yea you are probably going have to fight him again if that your save point. But if you're leveling for the final boss, you ll probably be over-level for for Garland which is ridiculously easy above level 50 with max gear.

Really sony, this needs to stop. Nearly every week we get horrible bunch of crappy avatars that made important content like Demos, New Full Games or DLCs hard to find.

Do we need two full pages with a State name inside a gun silhouette?
like looking for a needle in a haystack.

PS: Just noticed Capcom Europe removed Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 on PSVita. I know it was announced months ago but until these past weeks you could find it via search. No more.

Nothing so far. They said if a petition for the game gets to 50k they'll start discussion about the possibility of localizing it and it's currently at 45k so things might start happening when it hits that mark. (though we probably wont know if it's getting localized for awhile)

Never really been interested in digimon, but like that interface enough to sign the petition. Link?

That's pretty damn big for a visual novel. I think it's digital-only too, so cart sizes technically shouldn't affect it.

The 4 GB retail vita carts have a max capacity of 3.4 GB. So maybe they planned to release a physical cart as well, but it wasn't possible, since they released 古色迷宮輪舞曲~La Roue de fortune on physical cart as well.

Hey PSNGAF I had a question and I thought it that this might be the best place to ask since I don't want to start a new topic for it and I'm sure you guys might be able to help. My controller has started having the tearing issue on my left thumbstick on the right side of it, and I'm really worried now as these controllers are pretty expensive. Does Sony help at all with this and who could I contact about helping me with the controller. Or do I pretty much have to buy a new one? My DS4 gets so much use between my PS4 and PC and am really worried about it as I don't have money to cover a new DS4 for possibly a few week :(. I can take a picture if needed, just really worried and needed some help.

Is Super Monkey Ball Adventure PSP playable on Vita? I really liked it on GC and it's $5 on PSN.

Barring another store glitch, that looks like a no. According to the Cheap Ass Gamer list, that's one of the few PSP games that don't work on Vita in general.

Is there a Yu-Gi-Oh title available for Vita in NA? If not, is there any news of one coming in the future?

Nope to both of those questions. Only in Japan can you play a Yu-Gi-Oh! game on Vita (PSP's Tagforce 6). North America has none of the portable games on PSN and Europe has Tagforce 5, but it's PSP-exclusive for some reason.

Konami is a conundrum few comprehend.

There's a new Japanese rhythm game coming to Vita, but it's based on tap dancing?!

I looked this up. It's from the publisher behind the Black Lagoon + High School of the Dead
pachislot
Vita games alongside that weird moe quasi-anthro Hello Kitty Arkanoid game. That makes sense.

Just buy some cheap thumb grip replacements from Amazon. I know some people who had that problem and apparently that fixes it.

hmm weird, I didn't notice this before today but it seems since the update my PS4 no longer shows the disc icon on the menu when I have a disc in the system

I've gone all digital with my games but I still watch movies on my PS4 from time to time and it shows the icon in the top right when I insert a disc but after a few seconds that goes away and no option to play the movie appears :-/

ugh I hope I don't need yet another replacement PS4 (my launch PS4 couldn't read discs at all and showed everything as unrecognized)

Demon Gaze- $23.99
Tearaway- $24
Rayman Legends- $23.99
Lego Legends of Chima- $15.99
FFX|X2?(I think, only the tag is here)- $27.99
Conception 2- $31.99

How far in advance do we usually learn about IGC for upcoming months? I'm dying to know whether august will finally bring a retail PS4 game.

The touch screen kiosk gives different prices...
FFX|X-2 HD- $23.99
Conception 2- $23.99

It also says PDF2 releases 10/28, is that placeholder release date?
Edit: hmm it's a Tuesday.

I wouldn't call it 9/10 good or even 8/10 good.

*AT MOST* I'd give it a 7, or a 6. Competent game but aside from the pretty graphics, really nothing special.
I played 10 or so hours on PSP. I remember it being boring. I just put points into the first ability og my main and it was enough. Fights took forever and they were plentiful.

But Lord Karnage of Classic Game Room highly recommended it so I almost want to try it again.

I redeemed two PSN wallet codes on the wrong account.

Support probably isn't going to take them off and issue me new ones, right?

So I upgraded the PS4 hard drive tonight to a 1tb. Went to install my games from the library and noticed that Killzone: Shadowfall was sitting there. Clicked on it and it let me install the game.

Started with multiplayer first. I don't recall it being there before the Hard drive upgrade. It still had the price listed but above that was a download button and it looks like it's going to download the whole game.

Is there a free weekend that I don't know about?

North America FYI.

Edit: I didn't previously own the digital version of the game.

I haven't been playing my vita much this summer because I got sucked into Dark Souls and Dark Souls II (just got both platinum trophies), but I am so excited for Rogue Legacy. Just the type of game that I love to play on my handheld.

Haven't really been following vita releases in the past six weeks, has anything interesting been released recently worth checking out? Itching to play more vita, and Rogue Legacy is still 5 days away.

Child of Light was released three weeks ago and next week will bring Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds.

It's been PsOne and PSP games for me all summer on the Vita.
I've missed a lot of releases but money has been tight for me.
No complaints.

Sword Art Online will probably be my next purchase, provided I can get a decently priced memory card upgrade before then. If I can't then I won't buy it at all.

Skipping Akiba's Trip and Disgaea 4?

so is Injustice Vita any good? or am I better off just remote-playing it?

Persona 4 PS2 - is $8 the lowest?
- friend has a PS3... thought this may be a good chance for him to try the game

Catherine for $10 - YAY? or just wait for PS+?

Class of Heroes 1 - I think this is the only PSP title I'm missing from the list of Growlanser, etc - YAY?

I think you're better off with the PS4 version of Injustice. Catherine is great, get that for $10. P4 for $8 is the lowest yet. Class of Heroes is nice for $5 if you like DRPGs.

$8 is the lowest. Bought it the other day, but now that I've gained interest in a Vita, I think I'll postpone my playthrough until I pickup a Vita + Golden.

Catherine is a great deal at that price. I'd bite if I were you.

thanks for the replies guys!

anyone played
Witch and the Hundred Knight
Twisted Metal

I have the retail version of both games and they are still sealed - thinking of selling them off to clear some shelf space and hopefully get some money back...

(and probably get the digital versions on sale down the road)

I've never played either of those, but I haven't heard good things about the former.

Have to say LEGO Marvel Heroes is probably the best $10 I have spent in a long time.
I have been playing for close to 3 hours now and it says I am at 2.7% completion.
Granted I am a bit OCD with collecting the damn coins in the LEGO games, but still, I would say I already got my moneys worth.
And the humor and references to the Marvel Universe itself is truly top notch.
Money incredibly well spent.
