XBL: Games with Gold

Hopefully it is announced soon. I know a lot of the time it wasn't announced until the last day of the month but recently we got a bit spoiled by having the announcements earlier and I am just getting a bit impatient ;P

Haha, yeah but the earlier they announce it, the longer the wait until next month.

Has every xbox one game been released digitally? I believe that was a sort of requirement.

I think the only one that hasn't is Skylanders, which I believe is only available at retail bundled with the portal.

Other than unique situations like that, I'm pretty sure that digital releases are mandatory.

Great news!

Nice. I already have Crimson Dragon, but I'd recommend it, it's definitely worth a try (especially for free ;) ). Will look into Strike Suit Zero.

I may try Dishonored in a few weeks. I almost bought it in previous sales, but now I'll have no excuse.

Compounds my regret for buying Crimson Dragon (got it at half-price at least) but SSZ is a decent choice, happy with that.

Great month for 360 as well

Nothing exciting for either consoles :( Was hyping for a big game like Ryse or Forza even. I guess eventually MS will run out of smaller titles.

Sweet! bummer I bought dishonored a few weeks ago, but the XBO games are new to me.

If you guys haven't played Dishonored before, your in for a treat.

Motocross Madness was fun in the little time I spent with it, its just a fun arcade racer, nothing too terribly deep but its fun.

Sweet! I've been wanting Crimson dragon for months now, but didn't feel like dropping $20 on it. Glad I waited.

Looking for something to do? Sometimes the thing you need most is a few great games to play, and that's a piece of cake this month for Xbox Live Gold members. August sees Crimson Dragon and ID@Xbox space-sim Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut coming to Games with Gold on Xbox One, while the Xbox 360 gets both Motocross Madness and the hit first-person stealther Dishonored. As usual, all games are available only for a limited time*, as part of the ongoing Games with Gold program – so jump on them while you can!

Crimson Dragon by Grounding / Land Ho! (Xbox One, $19.99 ERP)

Available Aug. 1-31, Crimson Dragon, originally an Xbox One launch title, and acts as a spiritual successor to the much-beloved Panzer Dragoon saga. It’s a fact-paced rail shooter set in a beautiful fantasy world, where you can join with up to three other players for online co-op battles. You have a half-dozen majestic draconian steeds to choose from, and they level up as you progress through the game’s epic story. Crimson Dragon also features a killer soundtrack, courtesy of Panzer Dragoon composer Saori Kobayashi.

Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut by Born Ready Games (Xbox One, $19.99 ERP)

Also available Aug. 1-31, Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut has its origins in crowdfunding platform Kickstarter and was the first title from the ID@Xbox program. You take on the role of a pilot of the titular suit, flying it against aggressors in epic space battles. One of the key hooks is that you are only a small part of these battles, with huge ships duking it out around you, and your objectives within them clearly defined – but it’s up to you to accomplish them as you see fit. With fantastic ship design, gigantic battles, and plenty of weapons and enemies to deal with, Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut gives space-sim fans on Xbox One plenty to chew on.

Crimson Dragon and Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut will replace July’s Xbox One Games with Gold titles Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition so be sure to grab them while you can!

Nice! don't have any of those games on 360 or one.

Crimson Dragon was the one I was wanting. How's Strike Suit Zero?

Dishonored was on sale just 2 weeks ago, and I bought it.

But two decent XB1 games. I still do not own a XB1 yet. But by the time I buy a XB1 I will have a good selection of XB1 games already, that is nice.

Looks like 2 Games per month is coming to XB1?

Edit - Beaten.

I was hoping for Outlast or Super Time Force this month, but I suppose those are both too recent. Crimson Dragon and SSZ are pretty good choices though.

Still no Shadow Complex on 360, kind of a bummer.

I'm happy with August, haven't played any of them. I thought about Dishonoured during the sale but decided against it. Will definitely download it.

Wow, this is a good month. I didn't love Crimson Dragon but I know people are anxious to try it out. Maybe I'd enjoy it more co op, but overall I just felt it didn't live up to the Panzer Dragoon series.
