I don't know many Hammers but the few I do know fucking hate Allardyce. If they got a manager in who played actual football in yeah that club could go places.

I hope they get that kind of manager in and then goes down.

That would be hilarious. I hope it happens too!

It makes them more attractive to potential buyers. I think that's part of the reason why Red Bull were interested in them, though the way they change everything about the club is obviously a bad fit for any club.

Yeah seems very American and soulless.

Izvestia in Russia has its own Garcia to Zenit story, claiming a deal is close with Zenit offering £12.7m and City asking for £15.8m.

I'm sure if they're offering that amount, we'll actually take it. Without dusting off my calculator, I assume that's €15m which is a good price for him.

Meier, mate, Izvestia is the least trustworthy source you can find anywhere in Russia. Just a heads up.

I keep giving EA my money. Someone needs to help me!

They don't want mine :(

I think people understimate how much influence Benzema has over the RM attack, sure he may never be the BRZ Ronaldo he was pitched to be, but nowadays I dont think there is a plyer in the world that has the skill playing with his back facing the goal, and opening the field for CR or Bale. Falcao doesnt have that.

Based Tarzan speaking with the truth.

I'm sure he'd like to play under AVB. Isn't half of your team Portuguese speaking at this point anyway? Fingers crossed.

I wonder if Robinho will still end up at Orlando City come the new year or what.

“He [Yaya Toure] had a full season last year and I missed [four] months but I think from the games I played [the stats] were fairly similar."

RAMBOOOOOOOOO. GET INNNNNNNNN

First time house-sitting. Here for two weeks. What is the policy on food? I've been told that the garden is fair game, but here I am looking at a fridge with some food that's going to go off between now and when people return. Fair game? or am I going to get the "huh, where did my half a cucumber go?"

People, if you're going away, please clear out your fridge to prevent your morally conscious house-sitter from being forced to consider such questions of great import!

I no longer try to even comprehend the actions that other people take.

Ring them to iron out the details of what you can and can't eat.

I would say if something's going to go off before they return it'd be fair game.

I am almost tempted to support Dortmund a little more until Bayern can get their shit together. I mean, I have loved my team my whole life, and we have had so much success. Seriously though, we are the worst team in the Bundesliga when it comes to morals, and it disgusts me. We buy off all the local stars so we can be the best, instead of working on our academy.

It is literally the same reason I hate most of the rich clubs: Real, Barca, Man city, etc. They buy all of their talent. Ffp can't really fight against it in the way these teams do it, but this shit needs to stop. How is there supposed to be solid competition? How are the lower teams supposed to develop and eventually become good? Should be developing your academies and creating your teams to be the best, sell a few along the way.

That also said, Bayern has a lot of assholes in management, and I can't stand Guardiola. He is such an ass, and he isn't making us better. His strategy was a notable step down from our prime season. We have a lot of really great players, but a lot of them are being used poorly and some of his choices are so stupid. Martinez is not a fucking CB and Rafinha is not better than Lahm in that spot. I could complain about him forever, but I don't know how I can seriously enjoy my team when a lot about it infuriates me right now.

I mean, Dortmund has a classy manager, good quiet management (overall), home-grown players, persistence from losing their stars all the damn time, and good market strategy. They are a solid team, and the only reason we are rivals is because we are both good. Like, Dortmund wasn't even worth noting much before the 1990's, they are hardly our biggest historical rival. I don't know. Is it traitorous to feel this way?

Quiet management? Classy manager? Home-grown players? Do you know jack shit about Dortmund? I mean seriously, look up their players on Wikipedia.

In my biased opinion, he was better.

Think most here would agree with that too.

Yaya's goal tally last season was an outlier. hard to say Ramsey had a better season when he missed half the season because that hurts your value a lot but Ramsey, now, is better than Yaya.

Eat it and say you had to throw it out as it had gone off

I'm legit confused by the Schweinsteiger comments earlier. He was on the receiving end of one or two challenges that are heavier than the type ypu normally see in a friendly, okay. But why should the fact that he's only playing the game because of Bayern marketing have any effect on the way he's treated by the opposition? That's Bayern's fault, the club, the manager and the player. If he shouldn't be playing, he shouldn't play.

edit: Ramsey>>>Toure

He played 35 games.

Getting a DM would help Ramsey a lot. Had to cover for Arteta's slow ass a lot last season.

just embrace it. Chelsea took a giant 180 from Claudio Ranieri to Jose Mourinho but I fucking loved it. £200m spent over three seasons and a massive cunt as a manager. What a time to be alive!

Right, but the comparison wasn't for the whole season.
