I know that I claimed that I predicted that we are getting 8 color palettes couple of threads ago. However I would love to see 10 colors tho, but 10 colors might be too much.

it's still not confirmed that it's natively 1080p, is it? the high res screens are but I think they might be upscaled.

And now we may be facing a week that could destroy us all. I for one will not stand by as Sakurai destroys billions of hopes & dreams.

I found that I didn't use half the palette swaps that were in Brawl, so I wouldn't be too upset if Smash 4 had the same amount, or less, even. By and large, I find them pretty boring unless they're more than just a recolor (e.g., Ness's Mr. Saturn shirt,) or are referencing something from that character's franchise (e.g., Snake's camos, Luigi's Waluigi clothes.) There are a couple regular recolors I thought were cool, like Meta Knight's pink and gold, or the new green-skinned Bowser, but I could do without most of them.

Because the characters kind of have an iconic look I'm usually more than happy with the default usually but with the new alts potentially even being different characters or very heavy nods to them (ala the daisy skin on peach) then the more the merrier. I think people's current guestimates of 8 sounds reasonable enough though, especially with such a giagantic roster :o
 
I'm going to be so sad if w101 doesn't get stage representation.

I bet they're going to do some kind of really strong incentive to get the Wii U version if you also bought the 3DS version, some kind of connectivity.

I wonder what they'll do though?
 
I noticed some weird things in the trophies we have so far. Notably a lot of repeats. We got 5 breeds of Nintendogs, 3 poses of Female Wii Fit Trainer (with a 4th as the male), 2 versions of Isabelle, 3 versions of toon link.

How would people feel if one of the connectivity features is for WiiU version has the ability to "borrow" unique 3DS stages? I really like some of those to be in HD (like Arena Ferox). Could be a nice incentive for 3DS plus WiiU owners of both games to get extensive amounts of stage options.

What are the differences between the 3 versions of Wii Fit Trainer/Toon Link? I don't know what video they're in. I want to harbor a guess that they are returning the 'Classic' trophies from Melee along with normal (Smash Run) and a Final Smash (All Star Mode).

Melee had 3 versions of a character for a trophy. Classic, normal, and a palette swap.

Considering that the dev team is presumably saving a lot of resources by not making an SSE type of thing, I think this is completely reasonable.

Medusa as Palutena clone is 1,000% better than Dark Pit as standalone character.

Medusa in Smash 4 in general would be a great addition. She's not as important in Uprising, but it would fit the Kid Icarus trifecta of the three major players in the series.

Personally I'd love it! The more stages on the Wii U version, the better.

I have a strong feeling the game is 720p. However, it's been flawless 60 FPS in the Wii U version, and that's all that matters to me.
