Looks like Klopp will do the good old two teams for each half against Liverpool:

Starting XI:
Langerak, Piszczek - Ginter - Sokratis - Schmelzer, Kehl - Kirch, Auba - Micky - Jojic, Ramos
(Might also be a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2)

Bench:
Bonmann, Knystock - Subotic-Sarr - Bandowski, Bender - Amini (lol), Großkreutz - Hofmann - Ji, Immobile.

back in aust, there was some hype about him when he joined your team. i assumed he hasnt done much or lacks everything

Really intrigued to see how we pair up against Dortmund.

Even with their half strength side out there's some good players there.

Intrigued to see Ginter and MKH.

Auba and Micky will be burnt out before the season starts. Too many games for them already.

Focus claims United is offering €37.5m for Hummels, Arsenal €31m.

Edit:
Wait, it seems Daily Star is their source (for United at least). Nevermind.

Amini?

He's pretty fucking shite, don't know what we saw in him. Don't think there ever was real hype, people just hoped we found a new Kagawa :lol

Pep and Schweine cried like babies after Schweine's first 10 minutes. You're fucked, bro.

The pressure is on you. Bring it on.

Other than Manquillo, that might be their strongest possible team.

Heard Moreno is signing after the Super Cup on Tuesday, so he should go straight in at left back.

Then once they recover from their injuries both Lallana and Markovic will have to stake a claim.

The Manquillo/Flanagan/Johnson conundrum is a bit of a tricky one. Eager to see the former play today because I have no fucking clue what he's like. All of these reports about him being tipped as a future Spain fullback confuse me; why would his club let him go on loan with a clause to purchase if he was going to be a starter for the national team in the next few years?

What pressure? We have no pressure to win the league. It would be nice but the pressure is on you.

We can live well with a CL spot in the league and making it to the DFB cup final and out of the group stages in the CL.

by final you mean the match vs Bayern (regardless of the round) right? ;)

Apparently just there on SSN

"Fiorentina president Andrea Della Valle has told the italian media that Juan Cuadrado has asked to leave"

All coming up Moyes
hopefully

yeah to be fair, I didnt follow football for a while and got overexcited over that YouTube video. It actually shows us a form of football Kroos was always born to play, standing around and distributin.... fuck it thanks to Brazil, I simply cant hate on the guy. :(

I'm off, ,maybe I can find a TV channel showing Großkreutz eating Döners with Reus & Götze.

Firstly, that's cool then. He doesn't have the same engine as Henderson, apologies.

Second of all this is a good opportunity for you to divorce yourself from the Arsenal perception of Cesc. Just like Henderson is a different player to what he was three years ago, so is Cesc.

My point still stands, I'd love to know why Cesc and Henderson are not comparable? Why can't I say I'd prefer one over the other? Henderson was one of the three most important players in a squad that took the title race to the final few weeks of the season. Cesc just left a club who's fans were applauding his exit.

Now you're just making yourself look stupid.

Even at Barca Fabregas was played in a lot of different positions but even Barca fans will tell you their system doesn't even have a "box to box" player per se. The system demands that every single player has the ability to press the ball once it has been lost. If it is not won back within a given timeframe then everybody retreats with the exception of the false 9. At Barca Cesc was played as the false 9 or in one of the more advanced CAM positions. Cesc went from having free reign (and being a star) at Arsenal to struggling at Barca simply because of how demanding their system is on its players and him not being used to it or having the fitness levels required.

Comparing him to Henderson is worthless when they are 2 completely different types of players. Cesc has reached levels in his career that Henderson will probably never reach. If you swapped out Henderson for Cesc in your midfield it would take you up a level provided you compensate for the loss of an "engine" in a more mobile version of Gerrard.

As for making myself look stupid... not really. Henderson, while he may be an important player for your system, he is not a player that is as dynamic as Liverpool fans would like to think and he is not a "gamechanger" in the same way that Cesc is. The world cup proved this when Hodgson used him in a way that required him to playmake and create - not going to happen.

Other than Manquillo, that might be their strongest possible team.

Aside from Flanno being ahead of Manquillo, both Moreno and Enrique would be ahead of Johnson and Lallana would replace one of Can or Coutinho. There is also Markovic who might force himself in somewhere.

Yeah, that claim doesn't make much sense. He's young, but it's not as if he had any type of impact for Atletico during their run in the league last season.
