Yeah but at EVO or whatever he was hinting at an announcement soon, sounds like he's started development on something. And it seems like announcing games way ahead of release is in right now.
Sony is certainly going to push for this in Japan hard this year, where sales are anemic. Announce everything early.

I doubt that, they ported it to 3DS and PC, why would they port it to a system that is selling less then WiiU in Japan?

It would be the biggest announcement I could possibly hope for, personally. Dragon's Dogma 2 is my TLG. I will always hold out hope.
DD2 would actually have to be announced and then never appear again for it to be on the same level as TLG.

Snark aside, I'm going to guess that it's Resident Evil 7. The series still sells remarkably well in Japan, Capcom barely has any upcoming games announced, and Capcom has chosen to return to REmake seemingly out of nowhere.

There's always gonna be a part of me that thinks "personapersonapersona" to every announcement thing like this, but yeah. They've spent a lot of time working on the new engine for PS3/P5. If it's coming to PS4, it'll be like FES or Golden most likely, and come out well after the original version was released.
I want to hear more about FFXV and KHIII, but my hope is all but dead for the former, and the latter is too early in development I'd guess, plus SE probably wants to hype 2.5 first. I've just been waiting too long for XV, and after they dangled the carrot at E3 last year then went completely silent...I just can't bring myself to expect it anyhwere.
I do like the idea of a Silent Hill reboot, maybe they're gonna use Fox Engine like Kojima's hinted at.
I hope it's actually something new and big. DQ11 and RE7 would sure qualify.
Don't really care about TLG. It's taken too long and what they showed was never that exciting. I don't even like SOTC as some emotional art piece. I like it as a game thats fun to see and play. Either way it's not new so I hope it's not that. It should be at TGS though.

Next Yakuza is supposed to be announced at 24th this month.
Yakuza games are announced every other week it seems, and one was just announced for PS3 and PS4 the other week. No way it's another Yakuza game if this rumour is true.
I'd be OK with this.
