Of course it will be localized this gen.
If it is somehow "big" it would make no sense to release it only in japan.
They have to release it (and will) in the west, too, to make money.
 
I hope it's something genuinely big, and not, y'know, the next panty raiding pervfest by Nippon Ichi or whatever.

The Last Guardian would be nice, but by this stage a re-reveal of it would be considered to big an announcement to make at TGS. E3 is the only event I could see that game remerging at now.

I don't quite understand where this mentality came from. As far as console games go, we actually got most of them. What big Japanese console games did we not get? Some Gundam games, Falcoms jrpgs and Ryu Ga Gotku? Yes, but that's really it. There's a few other titles, but they were small even in Japan. Many Japanese console games were brought over.

I don't think there is any context to assume he's saying this title will drive ps4 sales or anything

Though a cross-gen release for Persona 5 does seem like it would be plausible and noteworthy... so... maybe?

Anyone knows if its a big unannounced PS4 title? Otherwise I think its going to be Kingdom Hearts 3. If its indeed unannounced, well I'm already hyped for the game on ethereal hiatus living in our minds forever but most surely will end extremely disappointed.
 
I'd love for DQ to come back to the big screen where it belongs. DQVIII was amazing. Thankfully NiNoKuni kind of filled the void left but a big production again of the series would be great. And it would help PS4 sales in Japan no end along with FF and KH coming.

Well to my knowledge, they left Yakuza 5 and Yakuza Ishin in Japan with a really low adoption rate for PS4, so you never know.......


Also, when would this so called huge title come out? I do not want to hear a major announcement for lets say...........Dragon Quest 11 or Persona 5 HD edition only for it not to come out until 2018.

I would say SEGA could be part of it but I don't see a Persona 5 port to the PS4 driving sales when its on PS3 as well.

P5 could have aport to PS4 but I don;t see it being referred to by the editor's statement.
