I still dont know why I cant pre-purchase it !
If it runs on PS360, it'll run on any modern PC. Also, judging by your specs, you're likely to run it at better specs than PS4 which are the highest for the moment... unless this port includes crazy AA options, Oculus support, higher res textures and higher polycount models.

Only thing about this I don't like is I got GZ (loved it, got it for a reasonable price, no complaints from me on that) and got the code and stuff for TPP but now I feel like I shouldn't have. Had I known this was getting a PC release I would have waited to get GZ and then TPP on PC. I'm guessing the code and any save transfer/carry over stuff is now useless for me?

Higher specs than the PS4 is the main reason I am going the PC route, also when does the game come out?

Agreed. MGSV and Witcher 3 are the only games I'll care to pre-order. Well ok GTAV as well.

Sega publish MGR: Revengeance on the PC. And there are very few Sega games on Steam in Taiwan (where I live.)

Hmm. Konami themselves published the PC version where I live. This regional thingie is confusing. What about other Konami games? Are they available in Taiwan?
Random note: Konami and Capcom games are not available in Steam Japan.
This news makes me happy, but I'm not sure why. By the time this game comes out, there is literally no way it'll be playable on my laptop. And a big boy computer is much more expensive than a console. But I suppose my Steam library carries over to a new PC whereas a console will be a fresh start, so it balances out.
Please let them bring the other MGS games to Steam as well! I've been dying to play Peace Walker and replay MGS3!

Not buying Ground Zeroes for more than 15. Hell, I would start asking for them to release it free as the game is nowhere near the 30 dollar range. We will see.
What does PS4 have to do with this? It's going to be likely best on PC with the added grunt but I see no reason why most still won't buy it for PS4 or XB. I'm really happy and will be getting this on PC now. At least with Phantom Pain.

You will get all kind of mods, already see the "play as quiet" mod being in pretty fast and we know where that will lead of some people.

Because Metal Gear is a system seller. People with a capable PC that like Metal Gear and would eventually buy a PS4 (or Xbox One) to play it, have no reason to do so right now.

Not a good idea. I've played all 4 previous games and I can't for the life of me remember anything about the story in any of them. It's so convoluted and crazy that it's hard to keep track of. Just go in blind is my suggestion.

Was gonna buy a console just for this fucking game. Glad that's taken care of. What a pleasant thing to wake up to.
Presumably, the idea is that the PS4 has a limited set of exclusives/games which are not on PC in the forseeable future and that of those, MGSV was the most important one.
If that game is coming to PC, then there may no longer be a need to buy a 400 dollar gaming device. And that's pretty nice for some people: 400 dollars saved.

I don't think this will affect how well PS4 (or XB to a lesser extent) sells. It will do great and likely move some PS4's.
Me, I'm all in on PC.
I agree in principle. For my more casual friends or family, it will be easier to recommend the set top box. I love that we're going to be able to run this at super high resolution and maybe even be able to mod it on PC.

Of course, no one said that, it will definitely move PS4's. What I'm reading is people saying that for them this is one less reason to have a PS4, and believe me, the PS4 would do a little bit better if this title was exclusive. A lost sale is still a lost sale.
