Here is a picture just because.
Just seaching google. Is the white one gonna be white on white or white with the black back section?
white on...off-white, I guess. Looks great though, IMO.

Is this a pretty simple mod to perform?
My grips were starting to smooth out to the point even a little moisture caused my thumb to slide off, so I bought these:

Great decision on my part. The tabs were easy to put on and don't slip off. They raise the middle of the joystick up a tiny bit, but gives good leverage in return. Also the gel grips are much more moisture resistant than the stock grip. At $8, its way cheaper and less time consuming than trying to get a replacement. I use them on both my controllers.
It is mate. I have done the same thing, and it is quite easy if you don't let the R2/L2 buttons come off .

August 19th is the big day, folks. That's when the new blue DS4 comes out.
After that we'll know if Sony has invested in a permanent solution to the thumbstick issue.
I actually ended up buying some OEM Xbox One sticks and putting them on my DS4. Best decision ever.
I much prefer the DS4 sticks tbh. I did a fairly comprehensive comparison of both here.I actually ended up buying some OEM Xbox One sticks and putting them on my DS4. Best decision ever.

So my launch ds4 has official gone from bad to down right unplayable. All was good until two days into the Destiny beta, the right analog stick would sometimes look all the way down/ up but it wasn't that common. Started happening more and more to the point that it happens nearly every 3 minutes or so.
On top of this, I realized that the D pad is completely jacked up. I would connect it to the ps3 so I can play Marvel with it and the diagonals do not work at all on the d pad.
Has anybody had this happen to them? For those that have sent their controllers to Sony, how long does the process take? Thanks.
Does anyone know a good place in the UK where I can buy some XBONE sticks? I want to replace my DS4 ones with them because I like the shape of them better.
You think CEX will sell them?

I bought mine on eBay from Dipway, and they were great.
Have you got a link for that? My googlefu is not strong.
My gripe with the DS4 is somewhat unrelated to the analogue rubber grips.
A few days ago I noticed the R2 trigger sort of drooping down and when pushed becoming stuck. It didn't have the same precision or sharp trigger input as the L2 trigger. I've watched a few Youtube videos and it seems to be a common problem. Most suggest to take it apart and remove the spring the holds the trigger in place. They say it functions good as new although feels slightly looser.
Anyone here experience this themselves? What would be the best course of action?
Out of curiosity, where do you buy those ?
I bought some grip-its and they felt a little too slick for me at times. Oh, and I was able to get my order switched to the Futbol Freeks. You should maybe check those out if you want PS4 stick covers that aren't tall.
Just finished adding Xbox One thumbsticks to my controller. Man what a HUGE difference. I feel like I have way more control without my fingers slipping off the edges of the controller. It's like the perfect fix for this problem.
