Hahaha so good.
The fact that King Kihunter says it's from the "Metroid series" rather than Other M specifically, unlike Fi where it says it's from Skyward Sword instead of just "the Legend of Zelda series", would imply that it if it was true then it would be a Metroid series character, not an Other M character.

Yeah it's a pretty good fandub, I didn't think the Ghirahim voice was gonna be good but it was. You should hear their Zant one, its amazing.

Impa would be a pleasant surprise. Her being playable in HW has helped me come to terms with her chances in Smash but you guys are getting my hopes up again. I think the Smash Direct Trophies does hold some value.
I want him to dub the entirety of SS

If I recall correctly, isn't the whole Impa/Ridley/Dixie/Mach Rider stuff made up by some other guy who's coasting off the leak that lines up with the pictures, & that the SmashBoards mods are believing?
If the leak is legit, I'd put my faith in the original source, & he's saying DLC.

Tongue lolls a little much and his forehead looks a little leaner but HOLY SHIT, Sakurai managed to keep leak going for now and drop a bomb
I just want to believe man. That last part redeems the entire rest of the "leak" and pushes the roster in AWESOME territory.

Ah, my pre-E3 2013 self would just scream in excitement at the chances of SS Impa shooting up by like 1%
Impa stay thuggin.
Since yesterday, basically just two things:
1) Famtisu scans leak, part of the Tomadachi Stage is shown that was previously unseen, matches up with the leak.
2)

To be fair, unlike "here's a picture of a menu" and the Samus outfit thread that literally made me swear out loud upon seeing it, one of the two or three scenarios I recommended for "this is something that might warrant a thread that someone would care about" was "anticipated/major wishlist character turns out to be AT instead of playable."
I mean, there's obviously a lot of wiggle room there.

A whirlwind of confusion and misinformation regarding the DLC part of the leak, and a few inconclusive attempts to prove the leak fake by finding the renders of Shulk, Wario, and Jigglypuff.
In other words, nothing to help settle it one way or the other. You missed nothing of consequence.
EDIT: oh, if you didn't see the thing about the Tomodachi Life stage earlier, there was that^^

Ghirahim's only an assist trophy? The leak aside, I'm furious! Outraged! Sick with anger! Dialogue references aside he was probably my favorite thing about Skyward Sword, so I hope he'll get his chance at playability another day.

I imagine ultimately it doesn't matter since there's so few PotDs left, but I feel like the guy at high school that has friends with severe Napoleon complexes just backing away whenever they start trying to throw their weight around.

Not a damn thing. Were still in the same spot about what to think of it. Thankfully Ghirham talk just from this AT reveal has taken us off the subject for a little mostly.
Wonder if this means Ridley is a AT as well going off the fan theory that the trophies I. The direct meant new characters. Since that could just mean the series would be represented with something new ingame.

Yeah, Ghirahim's lines were perfect. I kinda hoping the person doing these fandubs does more of Ghirahim's cutscenes, particularly the intro to the first and second Ghirahim battle.

as for the leak, I'll give it another 24hrs to be proven wrong, if not, I guess it's pretty much the same as palutena's leak case
Man, I'd love to but it's crunch time and we haven't seen anything that suggests Sakurai bumping him up to playable, so unless you think he's got cut from the AT roster (a whole new level of getting cut) I can't see any changes there.

The original 'Duck Hunt/Bowser Jr./etc.' rumor from months ago which you can read here was posted by the same person talking about Impa/Ridley/Dixie/Mach Rider/Mewtwo now, Neo Zeo. Apparently there was also a /v/ thread which listed the characters in that first rumor plus Dixie/Ridley which prompted Neo Zeo to post the rumor since it seemed too much of a coincidence. I'd need to relook that one up though since it's not mentioned in that OP.
If it's wrong, then they've's been misled, but it's not coasting off these current leaks (if anything, they're coasting off him?)

I dont know if this is the same channel but im fairly certain this same voice did the lines to the first fight of ghirahim, which is why I clicked on the video cause his voice is actually really great for ghira

I find Dr. Mario and Dark Pit to be pretty boring, and personally I don't want DLC characters, the rest is fine for me. I like Shulk, Bowser Jr. and the Duck Hunt dog.
The point is that waiting for new characters and trying to guess them is the funniest part of the Smash hype. I don't want it to end so soon, at least not before the last official reveal.
impa's SS looks way more cool to me
The Dark Pit thing? It didn't give us anything new either. Just speculating he might be in the game.
