Theres no way ghirahim will appear in another Zelda game
This was his only chance to get playable..
If he's never going to appear again and wasn't the main villain in the game he was in then he probably shouldn't be playable.
Smash shouldn't have one-time-only flavour of the year characters anyway.

I already know that iM@S representation is in via music on all the stages.
It's why Sakurai hasn't posted music updates because he knows that the world isn't quite ready for a Smash with no Mario, Zelda or Doshin the Giant music. Just iM@S.

Were still wondering about that Ridley shadow......
It's not in the 3DS version and considering bosses aren't from SSE this time, then it wouldn't be an unlockable mode.
Could be in the WiiU version, but I doubt it'll be back.

New Zelda games have new antagonists, thats why characters like Skull Kid/Majora, Vaati, Zant, Ghirahim or Yuga will never be more than ATs..
It is, I saw it in the 3DS trailer.

Well I'm kinda pissed off because of this, but it's something I've come to expect of Sakurai. First Takamaru and now Ghirahim.
We already have two Links, we need a second Ganondorf
I'm happy Ghirahim is in the game but I'm too distracted by Link's face. *cringe*
Pic of the day. "No, I'll just beat you within an inch of your life!" Demon Lord Ghirahim makes an appearance in Smash Bros!! He's an Assist Trophy, so he could conceivably back up Link, too.

I mentioned before that clones could work much better this time due to custom moves. Every character is getting a few custom moves for each of their specials right? So why not just give the custom specials to clone characters as a default? While some special moves are just +/- speed/power, we've seen some more creative and different ones. There's no reason for Lucina to have the exact same specials as Marth when there are custom moves they could pick from. I suppose balance might be an issue, but it would still be less work than creating a totally new character for Smash.

How can you be pissed off at Sakurai for not including two fairly niche characters?
I mean, I would LOVE Isaac to be in the game, but I accept the chances of him making it in are very small.

Definitely wondering about a upgrade as well. Smash I think is indeed going to push me for the XL. The screen on the OG is small sometimes for me even it shouldn't be.

Yeah you think that Duck Hunt Dog is pretty stupid to be playable character and gave me hard time about it.
Roy and Robin can stay because they're main characters in a series that is completely based around flavour of the year characters.
Lucas is the main character of Mother 3 and the three games in those series are very separate so I'm alright with that personally.
Lucina can piss off.

Anyway, the Duck Hunt render looks really good.
And he's actually on four legs like he should be.
I'd have absolutely no qualms with him being playable if he looks that good.
As long as his moveset is less generic than ROB's.

We don't even have a regular Ganondorf. Considering the one we got is Falcon's Grandpa.
HW Dorf, Pig Ganon, or Demise would be welcomed though.
But if Ghirahim is an assist I kinda doubt we will get a Ghirahim AT with Demise since that's like using Ghirahim while using Ghirahim.

Edit: just texted my friend who woke up and did something similar with the fire emblem 3DS.
8gb 3DS transfers licenses to Smash 3DS XL
Take out 4gb SD, put in 8gb SD, redownload smash and you're good to go.

Doubt it. Sakurai seems to only want TP style Zelda characters given the designs of Link and Zelda stem from there.
Toon Link looks really TP.

I would love to see blue pig Ganon as a character. Or even OoT Ganon.
The Sak has done nothing interesting with Ganondorf for two games. Either go big or replace him with Ganon as a new character that opens up more possibilities.
