I've been thinking the same thing because of how poor his air game seems to be. But Sm4sh could be a more ground-based fighter, we won't know until we get our hands on it.

I think I agree with this. As good as he probably is at controlling the ground, it's going to be hard to follow up much if he's awful in the air. And since the edge is basically free in this, characters with better off stage edge guarding (ie not Mac) will probably be better.
That's just what I'd expect though. Ground game is important too, but I don't think it's going to be enough.
Iunno, everyone has to hit the ground eventually.
Couldn't pretty much every air approach be completely punished by a super-armor upsmash?

Plus the increased landing lag, if unchanged, would mean that ground-based characters might have the edge. Way too early to tell.

What bugs me about the "small things" criticisms against the leak's veracity is that if we had the Spirit Tracks stage w/ Toon Link in the background and no Toon Link confirmed at this point, people would use that as definitive proof that the leak was faked, and rotate an image of Toon Link to show that it was obviously a photoshop job.

The music we got last night and the composer list were excellent. But I hope this doesn't mean we keep getting music updates in the next couple weeks. I want more juicy information... especially something that can relate to the 'leak'.
I guess he can't make music updates specifically via Miiverse, so we probably don't have to worry about audio only PotDs or anything. But I can absolutely imagine him showing a picture of Luigi's nose along with a LM song on the site or something.

aww it was a music related update? I woke up in the middle of the night to get me a glass of water, before I wen't to bed I decided to go on my ipod and see the latest pic of the day. Noticed it still wasn't up so my first assumption was "hmph, its so late though, maybe they're going to reveal a vet? Then we can finally confirm or dismiss that leak." but it ended up being the music screen. I'm not really much of a music man. Its something that I expect in my games(so its not so quite) but never really care if its any good or not. Only soundtrack for a game that I ever loved was Persona 4's. All other games are just, "yeah, that song is pretty cool."
BUT ON A NICER NOTE SO SOMEONE DOESN'T SAY I'M THREAD WHINING OR W/E: Its actually pretty cool that you can put the 3ds on sleep mode and play the songs while its closed and skip em or go back with L and R. Nice feature for those interested, I'm sure many here will use that (also a lot of my friends as well). Would've been an even better feature if they were able to cram more songs per stages that way you get more soundtracks to listen to but its not a big deal.

I was surprised too. I wasn't here for it, but apparently. I think it was probably just due to the sheer volume of posts too, but idk.
