This is complete fud and untrue. You don't need to de crypt anything to find servers. You can't access PSN on hacked firmware.

Considering that is their proof. I don't think they know anything.

Anything is this there proof of the hacking which is an IP lookup.

They don't know anything they are claiming.

How does a DDOS prove a network can be hacked? They are not the same thing

Because ignorant people don't know the difference.

Several major game sites have reported it like it is a hack and PSN was compromised again. They may go back later and update that information was not compromised, but it was still sitting out there like a real hack for hours.

How do I do that? Basically, all I want to do is use my vita as a second controller to play Towerfall.

Second question, can I still use Share Factory to export video of the gameplay?

If you want to use the Vita as a second screen then select the second screen option under the PS4 remote play app on the vita. And you still should be able to use share factory.

was honestly interested in doing some stuff on PS4 today, maybe even buying PVZ digitally -- after many days of hard work and not doing anything fun. having unfriendly thoughts about these ddos kids.

Just a quick question... Remote play, does it work while something like this is going on? What about during maintenance?

I connected to my ps4 via wifi and was remote playing Road not Taken, unfortunately I couldn't launch Transistor seemed to get stuck on supergiant logo, psn loop.
This annoyed me somewhat as it's a game I bought and I can't seem to access it unless I switch stuff off.

Those sites either don't know any better (like most people who aren't keeping up with this or very tech savvy) or they know exactly what's going on but want to pull in a few hits from the types of people mentioned previously.

Either way, it's very disingenuous to their readers and their site but most editors on sites large enough to get away with stretching the truth probably don't care.

DDoSing is all about overloading a server with 'false traffic' it has nothing to do with data security.

They don't have any access to anything, they are just sending empty data packets that block everyone else from accessing the servers.
I didn't say anything about data security.
