I highly doubt Smash Bros would spoil an easter egg unlock in another game. When a game is not even out yet in most of the world it's usually considered polite not to spoil things. This is the Smash Bros thread not the Hyrule Warriors thread. If I was posting in a thread about that game I'd not have any reason to complain since I'd only have myself to blame.

This isn't 4chan. It's usually rather easy to avoid spoilers for a game by just not entering a thread about said game.

Leaping around is an attack from DKC1 and you could turn his down special into something that fires one of the auras from his DKC2 battle, or something.

So I was just in a smash boards thread about auto-sweetspotting possibly being gone and I saw someone say they hated duck hunt dog and bowser jr. so much that they thought the ESRB footage could be "experimental gameplay" and that those characters might not be in the final game.

3-3-3 DLC idea sounds fun. I think in circumstances like this, it's best to remember Sakurai's formula. "Something fans expect, something fans want, and something no one expects". Always a little of each.

I'm going to ignore known trophies and assist trophies for the sake of 'roster expansion' concepts. I don't think it's likely they would promote these to full characters as DLC but this is all dream roster shit anyway so who cares.

Yeah, he mentioned in a journal that he's working on them, but wouldn't upload them out of respect for Nintendo and Sakurai (who apparently has tweeted his artwork as well) until they are officially confirmed, which, in my opinion, is perfectly fine.

Yeah, he's done some unconfirmed veterans, but he only showed a photo of them (no actual gallery upload), and even then, it's a different pair of shoes than posting art based on a leak.

I mean, part of this thread has discussed how Ganondorf should use his Hyrule Warriors appearance and that's a bit more of a spoiler to the game than some random sword being added in a patch. Chances are for the international release, that patch will ship day 1. Which means you'll get that sword the minute you turn the game on, so it's like spoiling the main menu or the tutorial or whatever.

It's your responsibility to avoid spoilers, not mine to censor myself or anyone else to censor themselves.

And Smash has spoiled the ending to a 2 year old story driven game that never saw an international release. Which I consider far worse than some random bonus weapon being patched into a game.

Honestly being on #Team2Big is far more fun. You can have a laugh at the expense of Ridley and if he doesn't make it in you don't suffer. If he does make it it well you have another character to play with. It's literally a win/win situation.

According to the scans the "N's Castle" stage is actually called the Unova Pokemon League, at least in Japan, which makes sense. Stage layout itself looks exactly like it did in the leak, so had we not gotten videos and the extra pictures this would have been enough to confirm it.

I like how this falls apart in the first sentence. If there is one source I don't think anyone will be leaking Smash info from it's NoA. I have a feeling that we didn't get to hear the part where the song really picks up and kicks into gear in that short clip they published. The whole thing feels slower and more downbeat, maybe the mixing is a little off.

I am a big Flipnote fan and help run a FB page for it. People always say "give up guys, it's not coming out" acting all superior and smug and condescending and you know they will still download it when it comes out despite this attitude. I guess as long as you're not a condescending to "believers" indifference is fine.

Like his design or not Ridley is very iconic in the Metroid universe and very important to the series overall story. Ridley is by far the most iconic Nintendo character not playable in Smash
