I wish the devs seemed to care more about the subtle effect of the stage layout on matches. I don't want or need the stage flipping upside down side ways and shooting purple dragon yellow devils at me.

Just give me a few stages with varying amounts of platforms at various placements. FD and Battlefield are great. Are there any other 3DS stages so far?

I wonder if N's castle will be legal....

Otherwise, there's battlefield, FD, Lumiose, Arena Ferox, and......Kongo Jungle maybe??

I remember honestly believing a rumor in the original Smash were putting in a 20-part button combo in fast succession when Charizard pops out of a Pokeball makes it turn 3D and adds it to the roster. I actually pulled it off once and felt betrayed when it didn't work. Needless to say, Isabelle's not being unlocked in the same way here.

Played some SSE last night. I like the concept of the mode and the cut-scenes, but the actual implementation is not very good. When I first played it I didn't mind it so much, but now it feels so slow and clunky.

So - let's entertain the thought that the leaked roster is final, and those 5 slots will stay empty in the game.

However, there will be a DLC character pack, with 9 characters - 3 newcomers, 3 new clones and 3 veterans. Which would you choose to fill it?

Also, characters which are already stage bosses / hazards and assist trophies are ineligible.

I can have some fun with this.

Newcomers

Red

Red would be a fully realized idea of a trainer and his/her Pokemon being a team. A map control character, Red would use his 6-Pokemon team alongside his own set of moves to try and keep enemies away from him and damage them from afar. Because my concept of Red is a little complicated, he's the only one I'll describe in detail.

^B - Red's recovery uses a Zapdos, he grabs it by the talons and it shoots upwards, emitting electricity to damage anyone in the way.

>B - The side-b would release a Pokemon like Rhydon or Tauros, which would dash forward pushing enemies away from Red.

VB - Down-b would plant a Dugtrio into the ground that would act as a proximity mine, emerging when an enemy gets too close and knocking them into the air.

B - Red's last three Pokemon would serve as sentries and would be tied to his standard-b, Pokeball. Red would throw a pokeball and one of his last three Pokemon would emerge. They would guard they spot where he threw them until they are either returned with B, or an opponent touches them and they attack.

Alongside his specials, all of Red's A moves would be punches/kicks and attacks that utilize common Pokemon items like sprays, ropes, etc.

Simon Belmont

Like Mega Man, Simon Belmont would draw most of his moves from the NES Castlevania games. He could utilize many of his sub weapons and would be a unique weapon wielding character, using his whip to separate himself from the wealth of swordsmen in Smash.

Ganon

Sorry Ridley fans. As much as I want Ridley, Zelda is a bigger franchise and if I had to choose I'd go with a proper representation of Ganon over Ridley (if I could pick 4 the final would be Ridley).

Ganon would use spells and his trident as a weapon. Ganondorf would still exist in the roster, but if he isn't going to get a unique moveset than this is a way to establish a true Ganon character.

Clones

Dixie Kong as a clone of Diddy Kong

Bomberman as a modified clone of Snake. Allowing both Bomberman to be in the game and Snake's moveset to not be wasted.

Koopalings as a heavy, slow clone of Bowser Jr. All seven Koopalings would be in the Koopa Clown Car at the same time, so it would move slower and hit harder.

Veterans

Lucas, Mewtwo, and Ice Climbers.

Yeah, yeah I'm a troll, so what. Means f*** all when it comes to knowing people. Honestly I made this topic for a little recognition I ain't gonna lie but I feel I need to at least tell you about tonight!

Here's some information I know from college mate from America. He claims he knows AllStar from 4chan and even sent me some photo evidence of a photo he took (Ganondorfs trophy and description) which I will post after I get his permission (Don't want y'all seeing his face).

Veterans:

- R.O.B, G&W and Ness seem to be untouched.

- Wario's Side Smash now has added aesthetic effects, similar to Wario Land.

- Ganondorf is the same, but his Neutral B projects forward a bit. Also, his Down B functions the same on the ground as it does in the air, further differentiating him from Captain Falcon.

- Dr. Mario looks to play Identical to his Melee counterpart.

More details:

- The Roster is final. Don't know about DLC.

- I haven't seen any more of Shulk and Bowser Jr.

- Haven't seen any footage of Duck Hunt Dog and Dark Pit.

- Black Shadow is an Alt of Captain Falcon.

- Louie is an Alt of Olimar (I think this was already mentioned)

- Louie, Black Shadow and the Koopalings all have their own names when selected, voices, announcer voice and unique cheering/appluading sound.

- The Mr L costume is an Alt costume of Luigi.

- The Sports outfit is an Alt costume of Peach.



To prove this is real, AllStar is gonna release a photo on 4chan tonight, of Ganondorf, Zero Suit Samus, Palutena and Dark Pit's trophy descriptions. He might even make a shout out to my american friend, Pyrokenetika. So watch out for that!

If by some way he never actually delivers, I will promise to close all my remaining alts and never come back. I will forever be known as the most pathetic user on gamefaqs, that's how sure I am that my friend isn't pulling my leg.

If he was in fact, lying, then I will post the Ganondorf Trophy and Description photo I have before I go for you guys to prove my honesty.
