Hanafuda cards are so far out of left field that I wouldn't doubt Sakurai could give them a good moveset.

Final Smash: 52 Card Pick-Up. The deck scatters itself throughout the stage, doing light but continuous damage. All the cards come back in an explosive light to reform back into the fighter. Anyone caught in the blast takes heavy damage and knockback.

His response was "if Dark Pit uses a sniper rifle weapon, wouldn't that need to be shown"

And it's a good point. A gun like weapon, even one that's abstract and cartoony, would probably warrant being shown to ESRB.


But then I do recall someone a long time saying that we shouldn't pay attention to what isn't in a leak, only what is in it. A lack of something being leaked doesn't entirely mean that thing does not exist.

Remember when we thought this leak was fake, and we would point out things about it that didn't make sense, and then say "this doesn't make sense, so why would a good leak like this make such a dumb mistake?"

I think they're going for that sort of angle. Too stupid to be made up. But this person doesn't have anything good to back it up with, so no reason to lend them any credibility.

You could possibly incorporate them into a move set for a pre electrical visual spiel era Nintendo. So they use Hanfuda cards, N&B blocks, a Chiritorie etc.

Each one of Mr. G&W's attacks is (rather ingeniously) taken directly from a Game & Watch game. I don't see where hanafuda fits into that concept.

I thought his sausage attack was made for Smash.

I actually support him to be playable character if they are going to add other kirby character because he would bring something new to the Smash. Some of his moves would be inspired by Kirby's moves as well.

i really like so far how they have been handling alt costumes, just from the ones sakurai has shown off. murika Mario, wireframe and hoodie Mac, it seems like they are making it much more robust and not just cop out color changes like basically everyone minus the alt colors for wario from brawl

Absolutely. Alt Mr. L would be amazing, especially with matching taunts.

That's true. That's why I'm pretty sure that Snake is pretty much disconfirmed for 3DS, unless they decided to add him through DLC.

The lack of required team colors allows them a lot more freedom. You don't need to reserve 3 colors for the sole purpose of team battles, even if those colors don't make sense on certain characters or don't exist in their world (Green Samus for example)

However, there will be a DLC character pack, with 9 characters - 3 newcomers, 3 new clones and 3 veterans. Which would you choose to fill it?

Also, characters which are already stage bosses / hazards and assist trophies are ineligible.

We're assuming leak = final roster. It's a fair assumption.

I still don't see how this is a fair assumption with All-Star Mode locked (although admittedly this could mean absolutely nothing and could've been captured for the video at a different point in that save file) and especially with all the extra space on the CSS.

I wouldn't feel any ways for or against his inclusion and he'd bring some fun things from the Epic Yarn-verse I'm sure. My personal "that'd be neat" addition from the Kirby series has always been Adeline/Ado though. Would be a cool way to incorporate Canvas Curse ziplines, summons (drawing things to life on her canvas) and portals (think Chalk Zone) into one character.

Plus it'd be pretty fun to have the big four from Brawl In The Family all together in an actual Smash entry. :lol

I'm going to make sure to include him in all my fake rosters from now on. It makes perfect sense, it's magic so you don't even have to explain how he work.
