PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | August 2014

It's starting to seem like there actually isn't going to be a Minecraft bundle for the Vita...

Common man, you know Sony by now right :D. They don't care about the Vita at ALL, god forbid they would TRY to make the Vita a more attractive platform for people with a bundle of a game many love!

....Sorry, didn't mean to be so bitter X(. Sony won't do it due to being done with the Vita. They will still sell them (as there are 200+ games still coming to it) but.....they will the the minimum for the platform :(.

Anyway.....TGS will have lots of great stuff for the Vita :D. JP still is supporting the device, so even if Sony will do nothing, many others will :).

So I just realized, apparently new PS+ games becomes available near the beginning of every month or so, and games like Metrico, Don't Starve PS4, Velocity 2X, Joe Danger Vita are available for PS+ members the day they release. (which is timed with the new PS+ game refresh)
And The Binding of Isaac Rebirth will be a PS+ game, so I suppose the game will launch near the start of some month.
in the us of course

Secret Ponchos will be a Ps+ Game as well when it comes out. Which i hope is still this Year :(

Maybe they will still do one [minecraft bundle], but at holiday/Christmas time...

I guess it doesn't have to be at launch?

I have faith they don't hate the Vita that much to do nothing, anywhere.

Christmas is a better time for it too.

I bet Binding of Isaac will be an October game because Halloween

In FFX, I finally
caught at least 1 monster per 10 areas in the game. When I checked the guy at monster arena, he didn't give me the mars sigil. I wonder where I went wrong. Any idea?

According to this you have to "capture 10 fiends of 10 different species in 10
different regions"
You need to unlock 10 different enemies in Area Conquest and Species Conquest (combined) and you'll unlock it. I just did it two days ago, you don't need 10 of each species for the sigil.
It's a dumb question but did you check all the pages? Some areas have two pages.

sweet jesus. i'll never get that

*edit*, nvm, i was also think ten each. whoops

Get on my level

Is Kung Fu Rabbit supposed to be cross-buy? PS3 version was released today and cross-buy is mentionned in the description on the store but the game doesn't appear as free for me. There is no mention of cross-buy in the description of Vita version. It is an error? Is the cross-buy thing onlu working in 1 sense?

I'm so saving next month, I'm broke as hell. I'm getting Natural Doctrine since I pre-ordered the limited edition, but other than that, just Neptunia Rebirth and Akiba's Trip.

There's a limited edition for Natural Doctrine?

Cross-Buy worked for me when it released in NA on PS3 (last week i think).

I got the regular version of Natural Doctrine preordered, and man I am so scared that I might not like it... Not just because of the difficulty, which I guess (I HOPE) can be fixed by setting the game to it's easiest setting, but I'm also scared that I can't come to terms with how to play the game. So far, every video that I watch on it just gets me more confused. I'm just praying for a good tutorial lol.

I know I'll suck, but at least the limited edition has a backpack I can use.

After looking at it, I only have 3 in my area conquest. None for species conquest yet since it's still "unknown". Looks like a long way to go for me.

I'm still deciding if I want Natural Doctrine. On one hand it looks like a game I would enjoy, but I can probably wait for a price drop.

You play SAO:HF, so you'll be fine on another game that doesn't explain shit (if that's the case with ND) :D
I don't know what would be of me without the SAO OT...

After 100+ hours in FFX I've accepted that I'll never platinum this game.

I would be more inclined to platinum FFX and FFX-2 if I didn't still own my PS2 memory card from back in the day with my FFX and X-2 saves that both would have gotten me the platinum today. And more, I guess, cause I had all stats maxed for my whole FFX party. Played a TON of FFX back as a kid because I really couldn't afford that many games, so that one had to last a while.

How straightforward is the P4G platinum, out of interest?

It's lovely revisiting Olli Olli. Playing with the DS4 is great. I can see myself spending alot more time with this now, especially with leaderboards.

But when I began playing that I gradually understood everything as I played more, the difficulty on that game is nowhere near as bad as Natural Doctrine seems to be, which allowed for plenty of experimentation on my part.

Natural Doctrine however seems to be very unforgiving. And trust me, if I'm having a 30min match, and out of nowhere I get killed because of the AI using some convoluted linking system that I don't understand myself, I will be very mad lol!

That's okay. Will I need to play through the game on hard difficulties, after playing through on Easy?

Nope there are no difficulty level trophies. You could play on Easy and then NG+ on Easy and still get the plat. If you keep multiple save files and follow a guide most of it isn't too bad.
