Nintendo (Japan) 3DS Direct to be broadcast soon [Iwata, 33 mins, Chico is Quiet]

FE:A was out-sourced to Red Entertainment. They also did, among other things, the Fossil Fighter games on DS with SPD, but the 3DS game was given to Marvelous.

I´m skimming through the google translated page, but it looks like their involvment was very limited:

"In our Red ENTERTAINMENT
I was responsible for part of the "scenario" and "illustrations".
(2012/5/2 Updated)

The "Harvest Festival of ties" additional content "1, 2, 3 future of despair"
I was responsible for some scenario "summer of bonds" and "hidden spring of bonds."
(2013/2/4 Updated) "

I don't even know what they could announce besides Majora's Mask. A new Fire Emblem would be great, but I doubt it is happening. A new Advance Wars would be even better.

It was. Minor contributions to the event/scenario portion of the game. It's definitely 100% an IntSys game, not sure why anyone would say otherwise.

Finally something this month.

I hope it gets announced for the rest of the world though. The worldwide ones are usually a lot better (at least for places other than Japan. <.<)

Last we heard, he had surgery and was recovering.
And it was a bile duct growth, whether benign or malign I don't know, some have theorized cholangiocarcinoma. But I think it wasn't anything too dangerous. What is important is that he seems to be recovering well.

Best to do to get more information is contacting the Corporate Communications Department Investors Relations Group at 81-75-662-9600. I'd do it were I more fluent in Japanese.

Anyway, as to the Nintendo Direct broadcast I'm not too hyped unless there's a chance of a new Metroid game being announced. Though I guess there could also be some new details on Super Smash Bros., and that's always interesting.

That's not what 100% means.

Every game has portions where assets are done by other companies or they consult for certain details. Not all those companies are co-developers. I've transcribed the credits for FE:A, it's definitely 100% an IntSys title.

I could have sworn RED did some programming and field design too, but it seems I was wrong about that. Anyway, I was clearly mistaken as I thought there was like 6-8 people from RED credited, but it's been at least a year since I last looked.

I can't see them announcing new games, I'm expecting more details for announced stuff. Even then there's a lot to cover.
Might as well not even bother with a Direct then, if they aren't planning to announce one or two new big games for the system.

That's alright, I thought I was missing something. I think FE:A will could their biggest effort of the generation unless we do get a sequel, and depending on how involved they are in SMT x FE (whenever we find out more on that lol).

I hope a new trailer for Final Fantasy Explorers. Really stoked for that game. I doubt we'll get some surprises... Oh screw that, of course there will be announcements about F-Zero 3DS, Advance Wars 3DS a new Megaman game and a 2D Metroid game. Get hyped!

SE just had a livestream for that game had about 4 minutes of gameplay.

We'll get Pokemon, Smash, and maybe third party info. I really doubt we'll get more than that. Also Nintendo Americo must be code for Nintendo of Japan.

Hopefully if it's for USA also we'll get some release dates for the fall lineup. It's almost September and we still don't know when Smash, Captain Toad, etc. are coming out.

Not expecting much from this.

Unfortunately, after the very good period around E3, it seems that Nintendo did a couple of step backwards in terms of communications (and contents, maybe). FatalFrame5 and Pokken Japan and Arcade-only announcement are a jumpo backwards, to me, especially if they are actually planning to bring those game to Wii U in the West.
This Japan-only Direct, it's the third misstep to me. Very sad.
Btw, I'm expectin 2
DS
things ;p
