99% sure it's a 'best of'. Two reasons for this:
- The image of the CD says 'Premium Sound Selection'. Selection seems like an odd word to use if it was the full soundtrack.
- There's no way the Brawl soundtrack would fit on two CDs if it were released like this, so I doubt this one will either. For example, the full soundtrack for Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy was 5 discs, and Pokemon games tend to have 4.
Just me speculating on the last point, but there you go.

Well I expect Wii U's soundtrack alone to be similar in length to Brawls and we know the 3DS's is likely larger than Melees.
Melees alone took up around two CDs and Brawl took up oodles.
Seeing as the promotional CD is only two CDs, one for each version, I think it's a safe bet it's not the full soundtrack.

Hm, some of the news sites are reporting that it's not the full thing, but I see now that the official Nintendo page doesn't say either way. You might be right.
Although, really, how often do game companies release the full soundtrack? The Soul Calibur soundtrack CDs, for example, have always been incomplete (IIRC.)
I've got to say, though I was down on Shulk for just being another sword user (and still am somewhat after seeing his moveset after I heard people going about all these awesome abilities he apparently has - another sword user with a counter? seriously?), his ingame model and the monado don't look like the complete shit I was expecting them to be, he's actually modeled really nicely.

It's probably a selection of the arranged tracks from both versions.
Kinda hope we can select JPN voices in this game.
Ideally we could pick and choose like in SF4/Marvel 3. Would love to have Shulk in English and the Fire Emblem characters in Japanese for example.
I really disliked we couldn't use them in Brawl until hacking much later. The English dub for the Brawl cast was kinda blah outside of a few. Luckily some of the stinkers like Pit have better VAs this time around, but I'd like to be able to switch back and forth.

Can you play this with a classic pro controller? What about Wiimote? I guess if all fails I'll play on the gamepad, really have no desire to buy an adapter to allow gamecube controllers.
