Oh man, I completely forgot about the Light and Dark soldiers. They would be AMAZING alts for Pit and Dark Pit! Now I'll be sad if they don't make it.

Snake is not, Ridley is not.

For both Ridley and Snake he had some fun sorta misdirection in some clever, witty way. (Both referencing some other character in some other thing.)

For Mewtwo though he has a fuckton of pokemon to do that joke with. The fact that he didn't go with some easy pokemon suggests that he knows Mewtwo is in, and has no reason to shoot down/deflect the peoples hopes like with Snake and Ridley.

Yes, I am this confident that Mewtwo is going to be in smash. Not going to risk sucking all the dicks available yet though.
 
I don't remember seeing this here. But Vaarose--part of Vaarose and Ninka AKA the people who started Bowser Jr. and Duck Hunt Dog text leak in the first place--had the following to say on Twitter.

For those wondering if there are more characters in the final #SmashBros roster, DuckHuntDog has some words for you:

I already prepared that 51 characters roster is pretty much finalized for us on Smash 3DS, but I'm content with it tho :)

Ding ding ding. Despite providing good info before, they've already established themselves to be completely unreliable and immature. They get zero credibility from me, and I'm among those who think the leaked roster is most likely the final one, but I find them saying it doesn't make it more likely than it already is.
 
Weren't they already credited as not knowing any more than what was in the pictures and vid? Like they are guessing as much as we are. Unless they got some new info?

Considering that most of what they know is from the ESRB, it's unlikely that they have anything else of value to share.

I also wouldn't mind the great sacred treasure's version being an alternate costume if it wasn't already being used as a final smash.
 
With all the confusion, trolling, and misinformation swirling around this leak, I wouldn't trust anything that's only text, no matter how plausible. Without pics or video, there's no reason to trust it.

So, for those that played Melee in-depth, Mewtwo is considered a grappler, right? I do realise he has zoning potential but the thing that always stood out to me were his throws.

Since the N3DS would be treated as being a 3DS + CPP by all software that supports the CPP, I don't see why Smash would lock out that functionality for the CPP itself.
