You're going to have to try really hard to avoid them if there are more. You won't even be able to check Miiverse.

Re: FLUDD not making sense for Dr. Mario: really, none of Mario's moves do. In his games, Dr. Mario doesn't really do anything; he just stands off to the side while the pills drop. So in terms of what makes sense for the character, I'd say the Tornado and the "Medicine Shooter" make equal sense.

As for what's easier to do, I'm no programmer, but I'm pretty sure it's easier to take Mario, slap a coat on him, and tweak his properties than to go changing his moveset. So if Dr. Mario is the result of having just a little time left over, I'm sure they'll make him a straight clone.

Ohhhh, the online has that thing where you both pick and then it chooses between each player's choices, doesn't it? I forgot all about that. No wonder I was confused lol.

Since you mentioned the agreement with opponent in that rule... what do you think of Gentleman's rule (matches can use any rules if both parties agree), in general? I've seen Game And Watch judgement only dittos at some super srs bros. tournies before.

The online play was the biggest problem with SSBB for me. Smash 4 might fix it.

Why do we need a silly thread title that people are just going to complain about anyway? I would just go with something like "Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS |OT|," and if the Japanese release thread will be separate from the North American/European/Australian release thread, then just add "Japan"/"Japanese Launch" or whatever region(s) after the "|OT|" in the title. That way it's kept simple and neutral. I've never understood the point of thread subtitles on GAF. Many times they just promote arguing or cause confusion.

You know, I actually agree with this guy. I would prefer if we just had it as "|OT| for Nintendo 3DS" and let the sheer gravity of there being an OT for a new Smash Bros. say it all.

The subtitles are from a soon-to-be bygone era, let's honor them by keeping it that way.
