Some people are upset that there isn't much new in the pipeline for DK this time around. Some of those people are very loud about it. An even smaller subset of those are claiming bias and that we're far too stuck up our own asses to realize how much King K. Rool would add to the game.

The idea that the Shoulder Charge is a valid reference is silly. How hard would it have been to base it around how it actually works? One person said "Mario's Fire Flower doesn't go away if he gets hit", but how awkward and difficult would that be to include? A lot more awkward and difficult than it would be if Wario's shoulder attack was fully based on how it works in his games.

But yeah, great to see Ike that high! He was my favorite Fire Emblem character in Brawl, and his redesign is probably going to make him my first played character this time around too. He was my favorite character in the Radiant games, I'm glad he stuck around!

Fair points on the moveset stuff. Just to focus on Master of Disguise, though: you're right, it is one of Wario's grossest moments, but it also fully incorporates that grossness into Wario's greedy, crass, incompetent villain persona. I don't have a problem with the grossness per se, and I think it's an important and valuable part of his character, but I don't want to see it take center stage, which seems to be happening a lot in recent years.

I think or would like to think that next smash will not focus on much as adding new characters and instead will focus more so on customizable movesets. Palutena and Mii Fighters were a great start I suppose. However id like to see clones such as Ganondorf, Toon Link and others tackled by allowing customizable moves that can be used online and in tournaments as well. It would allow for people who main a certain character the ability to still play as them but also allow for people to be satisfied with a different more fitting moveset. It also could provide some major fanservice for some characters. Pokemon, Mario, Zelda and Metroid in particular have a wealth of items, moves and weapons that leave for near unlimited amounts of customizable moves from their series.

I've always really liked the idea of Captain Syrup as a physically weak fighter that manipulates subordinates and/or uses machines to fight for her.
I was kind of hoping we'd see some resurgence of her with Shake It since she's pretty perfect there, even as a minor character. Pity that didn't take off.

I'm more interested in seeing some decent stage customization. Customizable stages are one of the things Brawl majorly fucked up, and there is a ton of potential there.

I prefer Project M Wario because shoulder charge is a more useful side B and a better homage than bike even if the bike looks cool and you can taunt while riding it. Bike as an attack isn't that fun to me.
And the coin effect when you attack while grabbing as well as his new back throw is a great homage to Wario World too.

My advice here would be not to fight fire with fire. You're bringing yourself to his level and just filling the thread with venom. Discuss your point, but if you feel others are not responding properly, I don't suggest typing angrily as the proper response. I'm guilty of this in the past and it doesn't lead anywhere good.
I thought game and wario was okay, it was just barebones. Got a lot of mileage out of miiverse sketch and the multiplayer though.
