Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread 14: Snake... had a hard life

No they look more like fire bullets, shoot completely straight and have no knock back

Oh that's right, I had a complete blank on them even though I knew I'd seen them.

:(

Oh, and I never chimed in with my least favourite characters to play as!

Sonic
Ness
Diddy Kong

are the worst, followed by,

Mario
Luigi
Yoshi

Least Favorite to play as?

1. Yoshi
2. Ganondorf (Yoshi)
3. Zero Suit Samus (Yoshi)

I don't care for the fox playstyle either but I didn't I didn't want them all to be 1. Fox 2. Falco 3. Wolf.

I don't like Yoshi in smash

Characters I never play include

Fox (he's a little bit too normal; I like Falco and Wolf a lot, though)
Mario (never played him in 64, played Dr. Mario in Melee, and he just wasn't fun in Brawl)
Sonic (he just felt so rushed and bland, hopefully he's more fun this time around)
Lucario (the gimmick wasn't to my liking)
Mewtwo (I played him a bit to figure him out, but he has way too many bad moves)
Zero Suit Samus (didn't really like her moveset; she looks so good in Smash 4 though)

Welcome Back. Don't get yourself banned again :P

I'll try not to, don't want you to lose an opponent in the Bash Sisters tourney. :P

Anyways, Fludd would be so much better if it was a bit of a recovery option, which is how most people actually used it in Sunshine. Like, if you could use it to hover a bit-not neccessarily gain height, but gain distance and stall a bit-it'd actually be useful and more like it was in Sunshine.

So I have this thing where I pick a newcomer main from every game. So far it's Ness, G&W, and Olimar. I really can't figure out who it's going to be for Smash 4. It would've been Mega Man hands down, but he looks kinda weak unfortunately, and I'm also worried about the possibility of him getting cut in smash 5. Although I'm pretty happy with 4's roster overall, nobody is really jumping out at me as a must-main character.

Ramblings aside, who are you guys planning on maining, assuming we know the entire roster?

Y'know, something I've been thinking about; for as much as I'm extremely disappointed in the 3DS stage selection, I do have to say that I don't think the third party stage selection could have been any more perfect (even if one is a retro stage and another is shared with the WiiU). Green Hill, Pac Man Maze, Wily Castle - arguably the most iconic locations of each franchise. It's a great thing to see.

I cried. A true musical summation of Yoshio Sakamoto's infinite creative genius.

This reminds me... does anyone have the music that plays in the cutscene with Adam's departure to Sector Zero? It was also used in a JP commercial. I can only find it with Samus' dialog. :(

I think FLUDD haters will, hopefully, have a friend in the good Doctor. Most of us are assuming he'll have the Mario Tornado like he did in Melee, and serve as a 'classic Smash Mario' alongside the modern one.

But who knows, really.

Are you telling me Pac-Land isn't iconic? How could you!

I'll keep my Brawl mains (Marth, Sonic, DK) and maybe give Rosalina, Little Mac and Robin a shot as mains.

Characters I don't play ever:

Toon Link
Pichu
Pit
Lucas
Ice Climbers
Wolf

..Notice a trend here?

short people and furries??

The real question still remains....

What the hell is Dr. Mario's Final Smash gonna be?

I played damn near every character in brawl (not well) but eventualy stopped play some (DeDeDe and FalconDorf, both are fun tho).

But there are some characters I don't enjoy using as much

1. R.O.B: just never felt right and was the least interesting character in the game IMO
2. Wario: Felt janky, which was the point, but I didn't like it.
3. Ice Climbers: Never felt like Nana was useful and she would often get bodied early and leave me useless...meh

Characters I didn't like using despise being rather good with them

1. Olimar: I don't like the Pikin system and his recovery but I put in work with him, with a better recovery, I might give him more of a chance.

Characters I want to have more fun play but nah

1. Samus: It is just too hard to KO with her at times
2. Sonic: I played the shit out of Sonic but his lack of KO moves made it a struggle

Honestly, here's my priority for DLC

1. Veterans (Lucas, Popo/Nana, and Wolf)
2. Stages
3. Newcomers

Once we get at least those three vets, I want to see Sakurai start filling out the 3DS stage roster. I want a new DK stage, a new Metroid stage (I forget if there is one), a past Mother stage, a Wario Land stage, A Link Between Worlds stage, a Mega Man Battle Network stage, a Flat Zone stage, a Gyromite stage, an Ice Climber stage, a Rhythm Heaven stage, an Advance Wars stage, and a new Star Fox stage like Macbeth

I just didn't get Ice Climbers, though. Out of trend :p

Hmm...you hate cute things and wolves?

The last three.
Sorry.

I could never get into Toon Link's play style until PM, even though he's worse than Brawl Toon Link
Pichu is just Pikachu that hurts itself. Like..why.
I always liked Pit, but he just needed a little more to be like "Wow, Pit's pretty good!" and that luckily is Smash 4.

I can play with most everyone else.

Pit get a few new moves and a different recovery move is going to do good things for him. He felt a little off in brawl (I also hated his voice...so I couldn't play him for long)

I agree with you in regards to his voice. Though the actor did a much better job with Lyn and Lucas.

He takes the roster spots of whoever is on the field.
He just flat out takes them, and you have to buy a new copy of the game if you want to play as whoever he replaced again.
