Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread XV: Kübler-Ross Edition

I've been playing Hyrule Warriors recently, and there are so many cool attacks and abilities that Ganondorf uses in the game that would be perfect for Smash. :/

There's no reason to believe a character was cut or not counted because of another characters conclusion. That's a faulty assumption. If a character is added, it's because Sakurai feels they belong.

I wish the US got hyrule warriors more than A WEEK BEFORE SMASH. What were they thinking? Like... clearly zelda fans are going to probably buy both. Sigh.

Oh well, getting smash on japanese 3DS anyway.

Wait, what? As in, a stage based on a track for one of those games, or a stage with graphics actually resembling said games? (Like the GB stage)

The only bright side is that hopefully Hyrule Warriors will help make that week not feel like it is lasting forever.
 
Does anyone have that "LOCAL MAN IS REALLY FEELING IT" meme newspaper of Shulk. It made me laugh to tears and I need to show my friend.

I never said she would take the place of a cut character. I'm not of those people who believe Dark Pit got everyone else cut for some reason. I said I would rather have her development time and stuff for another SEGA character I would actually like to play as.
 
Haha, oh man, you guys are going to be upset with me, but I'm making the graphs for the reveal of all the poll results and it turns out that that the character with no votes...totally got a vote after all! I totally forgot that one of the last three voters voted for them! Totally slipped my mind until I've had to actually break everything down for the graphics.

My bad, guys! They still came in last, though. At least this means that every character at least gets a little love. :P

It's actually my first time playing a game in the Dynasty Warriors series, so what is probably "more of the same" to a lot of fans is relatively new for me. It gets to be a little hack-and-slashy at times, but my understanding is that's par for the course. I can forgive the tedium, though, because it's so exciting to finally be able to fight as characters like Impa and Midna. I haven't gotten sick of the game yet--and, as an homage to the Zelda series, it's great!

Yeah, that's pretty poor timing... Although Mario 3D World and A Link Between Worlds released simultaneously, didn't they? I guess Nintendo doesn't care whether games overlap or not because they know we'll buy them, anyway. D:

That made a BIT more sense, since they were both the week before black friday.

Hyrule warriors should be coming out THIS week, next week at the latest, not the week before smash 3DS. :/

Did they though? Dedede might be a little taller, but Mario at least seems like he's in the lower part of his walk animation. Bowser stands up straighter, but he's not even in the shot for comparison. And DK looks pretty much the same.
 
I guess i'm going to have to start grinding in Xenoblade.
I'm at the Telethia who is level 36 while i'm level 32-33 I believe?
Beat the first form easy but the second is just wrecking me.
Sucks since I have been doing the missions I run into that aren't out of the way but i'm apparently under level.

I'm just at this inch to maybe just cheat and raise my level to 36.
Hopefully someone here can talk me out of it.
 
My guess is that lucas/Ness are either tied with eachother or someone else.

There have been plenty of ties before, so I assume top 5 will be tie-heavy.

Also, I'm going to be really upset if I didn't vote for ice climbers. I totally meant to :(

Dedede's definitely larger. Not sure about Donkey Kong.
 
smash u loooks sooooo goood. what a vast improvement over brawl...

my only gripe is dk's fur...he needs that tropical freeze update

That doesn't change much though because if either Fox or Meta Knight really is in last then that would be fucking hilarious.

Dude, that was my fear! But I found it recounting all the tallies as I'm filling in the graph and, fortunately, we're all good. I actually had the vote down in my word document, but I've been only looking at the top 20 these last few weeks when preparing the posts, so I totally forgot that it had happened.

I would have rather had it brought forward as well, but the gap between the 19th and the 3rd is reasonable. Though both should have released earlier...

You're right. I am upset with you. Actually, I just plain don't like you any more. I'm so sick of being strung along like this, only to now be thrown out with nothing. I'm not sure if I can even keep reading Smash Gaf from here on. I wanted to see the game release, but you know what? I don't even care any more. I don't have to put up with this. See you guys in the OT.

IIRC, the Telethia is just an odd difficulty spike in the game. It's generally easier going immediately after it.

FWIW, Ether-based attacks do better against it than Physical-based ones do, so there's that? Maybe get used to Melia, since she's by far your best Ether-based character right now.
