Technically the site doesn't count that as their video. Also it was an Amiibo intro as well.

This one works better as it is Miis vs the rest of the cast rather than Mii vs Mii.

Lucina confirmed that this was a possibility as this was originally how she was going to be implemented.

The fact that they are willing to make completely separate characters "alts" just makes me question Lucina, Dark Pit and Dr. Mario. I know they will be slightly different than their counterparts, but is it really enough? Especially in Lucina's case, which has at least been shown officially. Dr. Mario probably bugs me the most since he is literally the same person but with different clothes.

I am definitely more happy about Bowser Jr.'s inclusion now though. The Koopalings are a welcome addition.

Dr. Mario doesn't have FLUDD.

Hopefully their custom moves are significantly different.

Luclona, Dr. Clone and Dark Clone make no sense, but gotta fill dem slotZzZzZzZz
 
FD Link looks cool and all, it's just too bad he doesn't get the armor. I know he'd be keeping the Master sword and Hylian shield but I had hoped he'd get the armor at least. Oh well, still cool and I'll still pick it a bunch.

Well, Sakurai did say Lucina was originally going to be a Marth alt. Differences in how they function = new character. Someone like Alph works as an alt because the only difference is the character model and nothing else.

I mean, Dr. Mario certainly could have FLUDD, if Lucina is any indication.

Also, as an Olimar main, I agree with the people who say that the whole thing feels a lot less weird when you see the character as "Pikmin & ____", which in all honesty makes more sense in the context of the game, since there's barely a different between Captains in the Pikmin series.

Pikmin also get first credit on the website (as opposed to Rosalina), with even the message saying "Want to know more about Pikmin?"

I think he should have given Alph clone the ol' college try. Give him Rock Pikmin and maybe a power boost ability.

Needles close to the ground had lots of lag, but maybe I did it wrong? I dunno, but it seems like they might have changed it. Grenade didn't seem to have much pull. It's also weird because the vortex seems to begin just as the him explodes. FAir is still pretty weak, but it got decent knockback once the opponent had enough damage. Don't remember all the colors but a few seemed similar to Zelda's(?).

• Unova Pokemon League music: 1) N's Castle Medley, 2) Battle! VS Reshiram/Zekrom (actually a medley featuring the Dragon Tower music!)
• Kirby just gets the Monado when he swallows Shulk
• Kirby makes that adorable whirring noise when he uses Inhale :3
• Kirby's Hammer can be charged from the air, and it's really easy to turn around on the ground while charging
• with the Monado, you press B to call up an art, then press B however many times while it's still lit up to cycle through the arts. A little cumbersome, IMO.

"Kirby just gets the Monado" means that he doesn't get shulk's hair? And Kirby gets the buff abilities yes?
 
I was thinking..do we have any reason not to think that the leaked roster was already made WITH the DLC characters in it?

how does the esrb rating works for dlc?must they be rated with the game ,can they be rated with the game or always need a separate rating?

The ESRB doesn't require you to submit DLC for review as long as its consistent with the rating given to the rest of the game. If one of the DLC packs is Super Bash Sisters XXXtreme Beach Volleyball, then yeah that's not gonna fly and it'd need to be rated.

Haha earthworm jim , pretty sure he'd be easy to get into the game but Sakurai wouldn't want the groovy god

If sonic wasn't 3rd party guest character then we'd get tails and or knuckles as playable

I think Tails and/or maybe Robotik will be in Smash 5 but it's way too early to talk about that.
 
Dr Mario was more viable than Mario in Melee, it would make sense to give him the Tornado to placate comp players
 
You'd think sakurai would want to show off alph BEFORE the demo, since he had to have known everyone at the demo would have seen it.

Maybe we'll get alph this week.
