Back to that size chart, apparently Falco's 6'2" I read on the SF Wiki.

No clue where that's from. But he'd be one of the tallest characters.
 
I plan in playing Falco, Mario, Pit, Villager, Mega man, Little Mac, Shulk, Robin, Lucina, Duck Hunt Dog, Palutena and Link.
This game has so much great newcomers, I can't just lower it to a few.
Do we have an official starting roster?
Haven't been this hyped for a game since Brawl and Uncharted 2!!
 
All these good impressions are making me so hype.

It's like the dawn before the end of what shall be known as The Ten Years War.

A savior to end the bickering between Brawl fans and Melee fans. A mediator that welcomes everyone to its fun paradise.

It's really great to hear.

Everyone except Lucina that have been revealed seems to be it.

It really does seem like he achieved his goal of a middle ground between the two, while also seemingly making a new type of game all together. Can't wait to see the metagame evolve.

Ha, so Zipzo thinks Marth is still viable (and better than Brawl version)? Gonna be so glorious if true, all those haters a few pages back were popping the champagne.

Also, Shield Breaker is gonna be absolutely ruthless with those changes to shielding in this unless they nerfed it. It nearly broke shields from one SB in Brawl.

Yeah, between shields being weaker and the counter being a KO move I think means Marth is just going to be a different character this time around.
 
Regarding Samus and her Other M suit.....is that considered the Power Suit or the Varia Suit? Because it's this the Power Suit?

I always thought the giant shoulders meant it was the Varia Suit....unless they simply added the large shoulders to the design of the typical Power Suit starting with Other M. Clarification???

Haha, Zipzo just can't say anything positive about Luigi. He wants to be proven wrong, though.

He also just said that he feels at the moment that, if people go in with the open mind to be able to change the way the game is played, there's no reason this can't be a new era for competitive play.

Greninja's water shrunken is a great zoning tool as it's awkwardly slow. Says shadow sneak is going to be a definitive tool for Greninja players, loves whoever thought of the idea.

it's actually called the Piss-Yellow Suit.

Other M has the Varia Suit as just a color change, so the Power Suit is a piss-yellow Varia Suit in that game.
 
Doesn't feel Pac-Man is a combo-heavy character.

Hype levels are high, but he's very tired. :P

He didn't get around to playing Villager at all.

Says Shulk's final smash had the same characters as the trailer.

Mega Man seems to be a heavy zoning character at this point.

Samus up air drill kick has multiple hits, fair has better damage. Samus up B is now much faster, bolts up quickly. (Also, this was mentioned yesterday, but her bombs explode on impact).

Framerate seems solid even with 3D.

As long as he still can rock, I am excited to play him once again. I wish lucina was playable in the demo, I so want to know more of her.:P
 
Glad to hear every character feels fresh! Especially with the new animations and sounds design I'm really excited to try everyone out.
 
Ike feels pretty similar to his Brawl version, does have a faster run speed. (Relative to new speed I guess?) Ike just has color swaps, doesn't remember the color swaps.

Bowser, Charizard, Rosalina, and Palutena were the heaviest feeling characters.

Sonic has different shades of blue, a black, and white color option.

Seems to be getting off now. Says he's exhausted. What a guy for giving us all this great info! Is going to be streaming live with the JP launch so check it out.

Says he LOVES the feel of Smash 4. Speed is great and says that landing lag is truly not an issue as it is not a universal element.

EDIT: Yup, he's done. Video is being saved for anyone who wants to watch through the entirety of it.
 
Since shields are easier to break in this game and Marth's shield breaker has been buffed, I'm sure this is going to keep him as a good character.
