Personally I didn't get cramps, but the game was pretty much unplayable. Uprising is the best unplayable game I've ever tried. Want to like it but the controls are on ground are so bad.

Well, yes, people cracking jokes about somebody's physical pain are pretty awful, but the controls in Uprising really did give my hands cramps.
I can find Ridley suggestions as far back as 2003. The thirst will never die.

I played Uprising start to finish left-handed without the stand and without once getting a hand-cramp on the OG 3DS and I generally get hand cramps regularly. I have no sympathy.

For all intents and purposes, Ridley not being on the roster = Ridley not being in the game. He was "in" Brawl, too, but nobody cared - and nobody stopped discussing him - because he was only an SSE boss.
As far back as 2003? People clapped during the first Melee trailer when they saw Ridley
it was clearly for Samus but whatever.

So who do you guys think is gonna be the first/easiest character you can unlock in this game? In 64 and Melee it was Jigglypuff, in Brawl it was Ness.
I could see it being Wario, but at the same time I'd imagine Jigglypuff getting the tradition of being the first unlockable back.

If Marth's Counter is so much stronger, then just how powerful is Ike's now? The idea before was that his Counter was harder to land but did more damage than Marth's, but nobody has said anything about how his Counter is now yet.

I would be 100% happy with Ridley as a Charizard clone.
Eh personally after some slight tweaks, controls felt fine. I did get some hand cramps from playing the game so much in some sittings through.XD

I'm hyped by hearing that characters being fresh. I'm looking forward to see them in motion.
Geno is easily the worst because the character was completely irrelevant and there was zero reason to believe he could actually get in.
Geno/Krystal was the worst. At least Ridley and K. Rool would be a lot better than those two. Geno's so minor and we already have a "magic" sort of Mario character in Rosalina. I've never like Krystal, either.

Charizard already has what is essentially a Ridley palette swap, which might be my favorite bit of news to come out of this latest round of demo impressions.

I'd be totally OK with that. I love Charizard's playstyle.
Krystal has major potential in moveset and character. She has a fucking magic staff.

Geno/Krystal. Literally no chance in hell for Geno, and Krystal is one of those wanted reps who I just don't understand the appeal of. Like, every reason I've heard for her inclusion is a reason that would work for somebody both different from and better than Krystal to get in.
Ridley and Megaman at least have/had a decent chance. Megaman got in Smash 4, and Ridley got heavy representation in Brawl and will get it again in this game, regardless of if he's playable or not.

It's really cute how people thought banning discussion of Megaman would do anything except redirect the fervor into another character. As if it would actually calm the community down any!
At least the Geno/Krystal fanbase never started doing stuff like shadow analysis.

Either way I would be happy with the result. I wonder if they hit rough patch with the schedule where they can't give Ganondorf a new animations or moves?
I'm glad that he's loving the game and changes. I hope that I would feel the same way as he did!

He basically said he's not a great top level player or anything, but he's a "tournament minded" player and is sensitive to lag.
He also expressed disappointment at the Japanese Smash scene a few times, sounded like he wished he was in the States so he could actually compete more.

Has button customization been mentioned at all by Zipzo?
It's just personal gripes I have with the character. She was a creation for Dinosaur Planet and luckly ended up becoming a Star Fox character. I guess you could argue the same about K. Rool, since apparently the Kremlings started life as Battletoad enemies. Either way, I think the furry fanbase ruined Krystal for me.

Well that's awfully polite of you and not at all callous.
This is why Kid Icarus: Uprising fans annoy me. Every time I point out the game physically causes pain to play, I get a bunch of self-righteous people jumping in to proclaim how they had no physical pain whatsoever and that I'm obviously doing it wrong, when I'm actually following every piece of advice they've given (trying the stand, not trying the stand and holding unit up with pinky, etc.) and it still physically hurts to play for even the duration of one stage.
It'd be nice if people just politely accepted some people's hands aren't built for this game, instead of flaunting superiority every time the topic comes up.

Geno versus Ridley is a close one but I give the nod to Geno because fans of him are almost entirely 100% serious (and crazy but that's not relevant here) while a ton of people who "support" Ridley on this board I can guarantee are not serious and just want to see the world burn, possibly grabbed and slammed against the wall.
Krystal Fans are crazy like Geno fans but far less numerous because she's only in shitty Star Fox games. Plus they gave up far sooner.
