Ye, it'll probably be a fruitless effort. There's most likely not that many secrets left that we don't know about anyway. Not sure I believe the whole "more characters left" rumour, I think space for DLC is more likely here.

After playing around, I could only form these without "breaking rows".
Just add King K. Rool and Impa, and cut the Chorus Kids are I'd be 100% satisfied.

Random question: Have event matches been confirmed? Loved those in Melee, not so much in Brawl for some reason.
"Literally no one" is a common exaggeration used in the English language.
Someone jokingly saying "the Wii Fit girl should be in Smash Bros." in 2009 is different than specifying "Wii Fit Trainer" the day before her actual reveal. You're being obtuse if you can't accept that. And simply mentioning Wii Fit in the context of Smash Bros. is different than a prediction. I've combed through hundreds of fan rosters since this game's announcement, and Wii Fit Trainer wasn't included in any of them. That's why her announcement was particularly alarming.

No Event mode for 3DS.
I believe they aren't in the 3DS version, we don't know the full details yet, but I do expect it to return in the Wii U version.

I heard there was no Medusa color alt for Palutena or dark colored alt for Palutena...yet she has Viridi colors?!
I have a theory, especially based on the recent Shulk announce video.
We've seen Yellow Devil, we've seen the stage boss for the Mii stage, why wouldn't we get close up shots of Metal Face and Ridley and only TEASERS.
We clearly saw Pittoo, and Game and Watch TEASED in previous videos as well and they are playable.
I'm guessing 3 of the characters that need to be unlockable are focused entirely on bad guys. Medusa, Metalface, and Ridley. (Unless we are going to get a playable boss mode in Wii U only where the Wii U pad holder plays as the boss like in Mario Party games.)
The other 2 are probably Marshal/Chorus Men, Impa/Fi, Dixie Kong if I had to take an educated guess.

Exactly. There's quite a difference between (seriously) and saying "you know what would be funny/cool? If that wii fit person got into smash bros". A key difference is that the 1st has the connotation of "I believe what I'm predicting" while the 2nd says "I don't actually believe this can happen"

Look, I'm not saying that the leak is wrong because Wii Fit Trainer was a plausible idea. It wasn't. Either he was right, or he was ridiculously lucky. Almost no one saw that coming at all.
What I'm arguing is that Ash's use of the term literally was wrong because someone out there thought of the idea. People shouldn't speak in absolutes unless they have the evidence to back it up.

I might lurk but checking these threads for the last few months has truly been fun.
I've joked with friends about what happens after the game comes out? Like what hype machine will be left? Well, yeah, playing the game lol haha but you know what I mean. This past year has been awesome anticipation and I'm glad it eclipsed my anticipation for Brawl.

The entire point is that somebody considered the idea of WFT being a playable character in Smash.
