while they might have more characters they are far more simpler in design since they are basically 2 d flat images ala game and watch so im guessing maybe they will be less taxing then say the ics which requires two detailed models plus ai (at least that would be my guess)

They wouldn't be anywhere near as resource intensive as Ice Climbers.

But all of the smash characters are interesting and fun apart from their respective titles :( they all pop!

Not saying anything against these guys or their possible inclusion, but they just dont seem to fit in my opinion.

Well I think knowing the source material does help a lot. They'd fit beautifully by acting and looking quirky, as well as likely using moves from all of the RH franchise.

I think they'd be an amazing addition.
 
Anybody who's played any of the Rhythm Tengoku/Heaven games and doesn't hate fun would want them in. Seriously the games are some of the most goofy and charming games, and a rhythm game character has a lot of potential for a moveset.

I suppose thats true. They could also act and move as one character anyways and give the appearance of 3, if having 12 individually acting characters at once is an issue. Man 4 players as Chorus Men would be crazy.

I welcome any and all characters to smash, especially the stranger variety. It just seems like an odd fit, even for smash. But then again, after being in the game an inclusion like them would no longer be strange!

EDIT: now im hoping they're in myself just so I can get some exposure to the franchise. sounds neat :)

Seriously, the dude's twitter profile says he's 18 and follows Nintendo news, I doubt he was a journalist who was at PAX since it doesn't come up anywhere else. French isn't really some sort of secret code you have to crack.

That being said, he could have a friend who told him what was at that PAX event and he slipped up? But the explanation doggie gave doesn't make any sense, and /v/ is quick to jump at things if it'll help confirm something
as you're probably well aware anyway.

It can be innocent fun sometimes, like when we waited for several hours before Pottormore was announced because /v/ convinced themselves that big reveal was going to be a Harry Potter MMORPG and not the stupid reading companion thing it was instead. Tons of FUCK READING posts ensued.

I didn't, sadly, but IIRC the CP Palutena got pushed back along with my Villager (since she was next to me inside Gardevoir's barrier and thus was affected by the reflected attack).

Happy to help! It's hard to say because there weren't any options present in the build that I played, but my guess is that it works similarly to names and button mappings in Brawl: you save your control settings to a profile, then pull up that name from a list on the CSS. I would imagine you create and save a custom profile (specials/equipment), and then choose it from the CSS.
 
Launch week is here.Damn. New Smash is unleashed after over six and a half years. I can't wait for final-final roster, this is one thing we know won't change about WiiU version and it will be what we will have available until like 2020-21

i like the fact smash has quite a large diversity of different shapes in their characters u get ones with lots of rounded simple shapes to characters like shulk,robin and marth and its really cool how in some way they all fit despite different design philosophies

I'd argue to say that they all have pretty unique designs though. Except maybe Mr Game and Watch. he has history though.

But being mixed in with this crowd would make them unique and pop in contrast. I'm not excited for their possible inclusion, but I wouldnt mind them.

We've had an increasingly large number of "guys someone said this thing on 4chan" posts lately, all of them with no fact-checking or any potential legitimacy other than "guys someone said this thing on 4chan", it's just getting tiring to see.

It's the old "one leak was right, therefore all of them could be" thing that happened back when the Gematsu stuff started being correct early on.

Barring DLC and Wii U stuff, of course.

The only people who don't want a Rhythm Heaven rep are people who haven't played it. Which really is an issue with them for missing out on such a fun series.

Eh. If something comes from a Neogaf thread people just say "someone on Neogaf said blah blah" instead of "neogaf's gaming subforum" or even specifying a thread most of the time. The same goes with anything from the Smash Bros subreddit, it's just "hey guys saw this on reddit!" I don't think it matters what sub-section it comes from. People don't really care.
