Once Microsoft susses out their coil whine problem, I'm going to buy an Xbox One again and then buy the shit outa this game. I'm not into racers all that much(driving in circles is a yawn) but the original Horizon was one of the best games released all of last gen. I gotta have this.

Horizon is a more arcade like experience set in an open world. Out of races you can drive around freely while challenging other drivers on the road. Races are your usual track deal but the tracks are all from the world and sometimes you end up racing against planes and other various transports. You can also find hidden cars, signs to lower parts cost and seek out car designs in the online livery deal.

I say arcade but it still has that smooth driving of Forza. It's not burnout or need for speed where you are sliding all over the place.

If this is like Horizon 1, the difference between photos/replays and in-game is practically indistinguishable.
