When does the public event by the farming cave on earth come? It seems like I've been here for ever and no sign of it.
Also... Was farming. Some guy came and found a legendary engram and peaced out (understandably). 5 minutes later another guy comes and finds one. Apparently I'm a good luck charm for others.

Rahool! You finally came through for me. I was all legendary other than my shitty kicks. Upgraded you and you gave me 2 Blues and a Purple. Not good odds I thought. Blues are shit as usual but my Purple Booth Engram stays Legendary! Vanth Orcus 0A0X or whatever I say fucking sweet. You are okay in my book for the rest of the night.

You can get Strange Coins doing the regular Weekly. This really didn't help me much at all since it's LESS hassle for those than from Nightfall

Be the one with the killshot or be standing next to them, proximity assist and killshots count. Being across the map when the Walker is killed = no credit.

How are you liking that scout rifle? Just got it tonight from the raid so haven't really been able to give it a shot yet.My arsenal:
The Monte Carlo and Final Boss are both fully upgraded. Just need a couple more to fully upgrade the VoC and then I'll start working on the Ice Breaker. I'm gonna be fully prepared for Iron Banner. Come at me Gaf!

It took you guys 5 hours knowing what to do in the raid? Any shortcuts/tips? My friends and I are gonna attempt it this weekend at some point.

What? Really? I didn't think I ever got the killing shot. In fact i feel like I wasn't even looking at it a couple of times.
Can anyone else confirm this?
Love it for PvE. Hate it (and every other Scout) for PvP. The Solar damage on the primary is AMAZING and the full auto lets me go lazy mode lol Great for shanks, wizards, etc. on the higher level strikes.
Also one of the upgrades is bonus damage to Oracles which is one of the reasons I'm leveling it up since it's what I'll be using to take on the raid for hard mode.

I agree yes I have enough for that but I already had more than enough and since Nightfall is a greater risk I would think then I would get more Strange Coins than the level 28 Regular Heroic. I would have been fine with Ascendant Shards but 8 strange coins feels like I was actually ripped off.

It will take you 5 or more hours to get everyone coordinated. If someone doesn't have a mic, you'll probably have to drop them. Level 26 in the minimum, don't be nice and say "eehhh 25 is close enough." nah breh, it ain't. Bring nothing but vex weapons too. Snipers will be needed to crit hobgoblins.

Aside from a bunch of Ascended Energy (which I actually need tbh) I got the raid gloves and the fire scout rifle. Gonna try that out with this weeks Nightfall even though I've done it already. Should wreck hard.

Just finished Nightfall. That was fun. Was almost to pretty much solo the Weekly at LV28, but Nightfall needed a coordinated team.
So before I posted how I cancelled an exotic bounty for a Hand Cannon...
For reward, I got a lovely The Last Word Hand Cannon that is semi-automatic with very fast reload speeds! I have enough Ascendant Energy to max it out, but I need to get EXP for that.
I am about to go on Holiday though. All I want is possibly one Raid helmet or just a better exotic chest piece etc. since all of my other legendary armour is maxed out.
Pro-tip, keep a Fusion Rifle of every element for Nightfall missions...

It's not that I didn't get what I wanted it's that the risk-reward ratio made no sense. It's like if I did the raid and got a Legendary with less stats and less light than stuff I could buy.

Damn, it feels like it's really amatuer hour and Bungie is in the spotlight. Having weekend PvP bounties during the weekdays, a queen bounty that's currently impossible to complete...like, what are you doing bungie ._.
Damm pretty awesome, thats the weapon I most want, completed nightfall and got a legendary rocket launcher with arc damage.
I have gotten 3 of the chest pieces and 3 of the helmets. I just salvaged them to level up.
