Does anything but helmets and chest pieces drop from these bounties? Over two days I haven't seen anything else drop but could actually use some boots or gloves.

Yes it has. Sold millions and a lot of those are loving the game despite poor reviews and the current flaws. Great start to the franchise.

I would impose this on all my weapons.It's good to talk, better to headshot.
On this topic, imagine a perk on a weapon that went something like:
"Remove accuracy penalty during all movement. Cannot ADS"

I think that once I've finished leveling my human Bladedancer I will probably create a new Awoken Warlock. I liked Hunter for the looks, but the Sunsinger's abilities just seem ridiculous.

Hive Majors in the very first underground cave (down the stairs, slightly left and forward from where you spawn) on Comsodrome. They respawn by walking away, turn on your Black wax and go to town.
Edit: Not sure that its considered a cave, but the name is appropriate
Question about light level, does incremental increases do anything?
I am halfway to 28, is adding +2 light going to do anything or do you only get boosts on full levels?
Want to know if I should dump some shards into my current gear or wait till I have higher base light gear (raid).

Not completely true and this is something I feel a lot of people are overlooking for some reason. Stats. There's more than just the generic defense and light. The Discipline, Intelligence and Strength rolls vary, not only which ones are on the armor, but the actual values themselves. I believe legendaries cap at 50 for each? So even if you want Int/Discipline, you may get 44/45 but maybe that new mask that just dropped is 50/49 or something.
Not to mention the other abilities a piece of gear can have.

Armor pieces are 13 strange coins. It seems like the cost of the weapons depends on the type that's on offer, as the Gjallarhorn rocket launcher was 17, but the Red Death pulse rifle from the first week was 23.

Yes, hand cannon is super forgiving with headshots. There's a great spot on Venus (ember caves or something like that) where you can do it easily (and get some public events while you're at it).

I imagine if he's 28, he's already been carefully cultivating the kind of gear he's wearing, which the Queen's armor is likely going to interfere with.

Light is way better than stats so if you have already upgraded you gear than there is no reason to pick that amour.

LOL @ the thread title. That was me last weekend.
I finally started the raid last night. Yeah...that was surprisingly fun. We got a full six, and a surprising number of the guys are Miami locals too. The servers must definitely regionalize the instancing, because I'm not the only user I've seen running around with 305 in the username.
Anyway, that was tough. we are right before the second treasure chest, I believe. We haven't used any YT videos for guidance, so we're going in largely blind. The fireteam leader is the only one who's played it before, and he only got as far as we got last night. LOL! It's been a blast.
I met the fireteam leader randomly the first week, and we went grinding together a lot. He added me to his clan last night, when I discovered all his friends are from Miami, eventhough he's in the islands. So we all hit it off well. I think I found my Destiny wingman last night. Manned a gate together, and our communication is just perfect. We also take the lead in strategizing.
I'm a trash talker in local multi, but I never liked talking much during online games. However, I've found I'm pretty vocal in this game, and I'm not afraid to give orders to teammates. This is new for me. This is fun. PEACE.

You say that and then I slice up a whole team in Control with my super.
Maybe you missed that little thing called Arc Blade that makes you slice around for half a day while brushing off rockets like they were mosquito bites?

Rocket launcher stops Bladedancer in super like 90% of the time. I know because I use it to counter OTHER Bladedancers, haha.
So. I've done the nightfall this week and the weekly heroic. Let's assume I have all bounties done for the day as well... What's the best way to get Vanguard points? I'm 1466 points away from Vanguard rank 3 and I want to get there soon so I can actually start spending these marks.

The cave farming location is the easiest one. You just defend the thing every time an event happens.

Go to earth, the events on the moon all seem to spawn around the same time and can be missed if you're underground.
