hopefully next week I can join someone here to raid. I should be around lvl 27 hunter by then. Got one exotic sniper ice breaker and most purple armor. Will be my first time.

Just got Universal Remote from a purple special weapon engram! My fourth exotic. :-)

it looks poor on all aspects compared to a Hammerung FR5 blue except for the mag size.

Some Fr5 have better charge time and more impact (but 4 mag)

Impact is very low for a fusion...

I feel you don't quite understand this gun.
It has no charge time. It fires single bolts that's why the mag is so high.
If you pull the trigger, a single bolt comes out of the gun.

It's not a normal fusion rifle that fires multiple bolts like a shotgun after charging.
It's more of a hybrid scout/fusion rifle.

Wat Shores of Time is the best control map. Not only that it's the second best map in the game.

Explain yourself

Whattt shores of time is the best map in pvp

Bastion and first light need a big team battle game mode.

So why is Shores of Time the best map then? I mean, I don't hate it, but I'm not keen on it. And why does everyone else hate on First Light? Do you guys hate the vehicles or something?

73 strange coins, 35 motes of light and enough asshards to upgrade two items of gear fully.

Xur, when I see you in 90 minutes, I'd love it if you'd leave those sparkly Warlock gloves at home and bring something yellow for my head or my feet. Having never had anything exotic that I can actually use in over 140 hours of play, be kind to me this week. Otherwise it's sushi time. Just sayin'.

So I think we can all agree that The Nexus is the easiest / shortest Strike?

I solo'd the lv. 28 Heroic Weekly in one go, no deaths and I didn't even need to cheese the boss...
Weekly Nightfall also seems to be very possible solo Sunsinger ( I solo'd through the Servitors and Minotaurs on my first go before dying due to being a bit careless with the single Hobgoblin I had not yet killed after having already recently used my Super ).

Is the Weekly Heroic Strike lvl.28 doable alone? Can't find anyone on PS3.

Yes, just did all 3 versions myself.

>I stayed up top
>sniped minotaurs below
>kill Minotaur coming up behind with grenade every half minute or so
>have full rocket launcher while approaching fight
>use all rockets
>heavy ammo synthesis
>use all rockets
>nexus is kill

Having a Solar rocket launcher is preferred given the Solar burn thing.

Was actually pretty easy. Nightfall is hard by yourself, doable though.

first light is a lot of unused space... for control, its 'okay', for anything else though and its just frustrating to have to deal with that entire map

Have someone like a Gunslinger Hunter or a Voidwalker Warlock be one of the time travelers so they can help the relic user get rid of the adds at the beginning of each area. When you travel back have everyone meet in the middle platform and have a Defender Titan have Weapons of Light and Illuminated equipped. Have the relic user hold the shield for the entire duration and have everyone else go through the Titan's bubble so they receive the damage buff. Shoot at the boss until there's around 5 seconds left so everyone can get back into position. Also everyone should try to stay alive since one death can chain react to more. You should be able to kill him in 4 to 5 travel loops, easily beating his enrage timer.

We tried this last night. Lacking a titan in our team, we could only get him down to 30% health before enrage.

Fucking. YES. 44 hours of play deep, I unlocked my first (usable) legendary armor piece from the Queen's shit. My friend and I had roundabout 100 deaths on The Black Garden mission but worth it because FUCKING LEGENDARY.

One of the biggest gripes im having with this game is the desire to make a new character.

MMOs and RPG games were always fun when you would level a new class through the beginning content. The problem with Destiny is that all the same content is recycled for level 20+ missions.
It doesn't take too long(I leveled two alts in 8-10 hrs each) but yeah doing the same missions and esp having to re-earn rep (I don't mind having to get marks though strike payouts are shit atm) is the backbreaker for me. I had gear for them once they hit 20 but getting there is dull due to lack of variation in yerms of content. Not that endgame isnt a grind either. I'm stuck with 3 lvl 26 chars and due to bungie's nerfs no way to lvl gear or do the night fall/weekly strike for coins.

Just got my first exotic!

Found it in a Purple Engram. It was the Sniper Rifle Ice Breaker, is that a good one? Sure looks sick from the stats / abilities

The guys outside just have to jump into the center once the portals are up. The boss is frozen and they wont have to worry about harpies exploding on them, so they can shoot back and clear out for the Gate-Team.
We can do it today, #believe.

Wait you can do Weekly on 3 difficulties and earn the 3 rewards? 18 coins? I thought once you did any of them, you wouldn't get the coins for the other difficulties.

You shouldn't answer with a question.

The only bad thing I can think of is the spawns are a little too predictable.
Other wise it has fantastic sight lines, fair capture points, easy ways to cut through the map, easy to grab ammo(special/Heavy). The map looks awesome. Not a lot of clutter. It's also a mulit-purpose map(clash, control, skirmish) that works well for all of them.

You're correct. If you want all the rewards, just do the lv. 28 one. No need or reason to do all three difficulties separately.

No, you cant do that. Once you finished Lv28 the rewards vansih from the lower Lvs.
9 Coins is max.

You get particle effects around your character for completing the weekly and nightfall (I had streams when running now have blue mist/fire around head, I think that's where they came from). Are there any effects for the raid or hard raid?

First light is okay, its just wasted space for 6 v 6

Shores of Time is a perfect size, has great encounter layout with capture points that are both easy to defend and capture.

Blind Watch and Bastion on the other hand can go to hell

Basically, high level people had no use for the queen legendary loot. These people would dismantle it and get legendary mats. Bungie patched this out.

So, considering I have been waiting for the weekend to to all the missions because I was only doing the bounties and had not enough time... I guess I done fucked up?

Fuck you Bungie.

Blind Watch is great when its not Control. The B point placement is just terrible.

Damn that final Raid boss (Atheon) is solid. Any tips with that segment?
The big things to know is that the people who get teleported are always the 3 furtherest away from the Boss, so if you're going with a dedicated team of 'porters, make sure they stay on the back wall when it's time to get 'ported.

Once the Portal team have done what they need, and Time's Vengeance is activated, it's best to have everyone jump on the platform in the middle and in front of the boss, the Shield holder activates the bubble shield and everyone fires out of it at the boss before Time's Vengeance expires. Right before the countdown ends, the portal team jump to the back and the remaining three jump to the left and right, and repeat.

My team did this in our run today. Made it much easier for
the outside team, and they're already at the platform when it's time to wail on the boss.

I haven't played a great deal since launch and I'm level 15 with 2 moon missions and the earth missions done. What is a quick way to level to 20 so I can play with my friends.
