Completed the Nightfall today. That was crazy fun with my two friends. One thing though, when reading tips everything seemed to say you only needed Solar weapons, but we quickly found out that wasn't true. How come no one mentions that if you don't have the exact weapon to counter shields (Arc for the captain in the Servitor room or Void for the minotaurs)? It seemed like anything else thrown into these shields was just resisted. Even if you cheese it on the cliff, the minotaur is going to resist everything except Void. Or did I miss something?

People have mentioned this stuff, you'd just have to have read those specific posts from one thread ago.

I personally am loving the way Bungie is supporting their product post launch. Everything they've said they are changing sounds great. That update is new threead worthy IMO

The only thing they didn't mention was "guaranteed to be for the class you are playing" ... Hopefully that will come next.

I don't like to nitpick people's writing - it's harder than it looks - but the Bungie Weekly Updates are kind of a chore to read with Deej's style.


"We're already putting the finishing touches on the next update and it will be out pretty soon" would do it. As is we have to read between the lines of two paragraphs of fluff to get to the information. The entire update reads like this and I find myself often skimming it to find the point of a section.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this.
