How do some of you have so many shaders? I am lvl 26 and have not received a single shader outside the ones you get near the beginning.
PVP and raids give out shaders. That grey one looks awesome. Plus there's the ones you can buy.
Sequels seldom live up to the original.
Collect the 5 golden chests on Mars. The fourth one you find will have a strange coin in it.

I've gotten like 4 different ones from the Crucible. Also got one as a random reward when I leveled up the Cryptarch once.
Aside from that the only other ones I have are the Queen's Wrath one and the two that you get from inputting codes on Bungie.net.

Blame Bungie. I don't want to PvP in the current setting...but it is currently the best way to obtain loot. Get used to it, you are gonna find more and more people afking/doing jack shit.

First off the idea that I should cry to Bungie and not here, what is this place? I could summon up a megaton of post that complain over and over about the game, I'm not running to bungie cause they are going to do what they want to do. I love the game, I hate the fact that I'm pushed to PvP when I don't want to PvP. Got an exotic bounty? Grats go PvP. Want a particular stat set, grats go PvP. I don't wanna PvP, you get that? All it is doing is pissing off PvE players and PvP players. When you force PvE players to PvP they are going to make the game worse. You want PvP yes? Don't you want to play against people that are up for the same or do you want a target dummy? This is the same shit design as when Blizz made PvE players drop in to do PvP for a portion of the Legendary Cloak. Thankfully it was only one portion
Could you imagine how it would be if you had to PvP to get certain stats/gear sets? Well guess what you don't have to imagine it, that is exactly how it is in Destiny. It's Bullshit.

Is loot cave 2.0 legit? Came here on patrol and it feels like I can never get the enemies around me to stop respawning so bother even comes out of that room consistently. Tried going around killing everything but by the time I'm done seems like more baddies are back

Gather round children and let me tell you of the story of The Radical Raid Group. It was on a dark night at 10 pm when all members gathered to venture forth towards the adventure. Four of them had never been there before, but with the help of two who already lost their raid virginity they went onward towards adventure.
As they passed the first stage, their bond grew closer, almost to a sexuality exhilarating level. The tension between these Brobiwan Kenobis and those Edgar Allan Bros was reaching critical mass.
Then they beat the first boss, and they cemented their roles in the team. As they reached the Gorgon labyrinth they realized that the drop and title appearance of the area reminded them all of Dark Souls, so as a measure of safety they proceeded to do the only thing Dark Souls fans do when they need a moment of rest.
They continued onwards. And after initial attempts at the final boss where tempers were lost and screaming into tiny microphones were occurring, they all thought the bromance was lost. But nobody puts baby in the corner. In this case baby represented all of them so roll with me.
They eventually got the formula down and beat the boss. After many tears and nerdgasms of joy, they congratulated each other and knew at that moment that if marrying a bro was legal and you could like live with them without any sex, they'd do it right there and then. Also if polygamy wasn't socially frowned upon.
They returned to the tower, where they had a most exquisite dance party
All of the guardians were super jelly of our brave heroes. But one of them, named Steamtrain or some shit this author can't remember, was so fucking peanut butter and jelly he decided to try and fuck up the picture by turning on the fan. Little did he know he only made it better because then the gang could take a picture like one of those 80s sitcom endings where they all jump in midair to celebrate
After the very long party of one like 3 minutes of strenuous sweaty dancing to honor the memory of Kevin Bacon, they sat down and stared longingly into each others' eyes
"Was that shit dope or what?" asked one of the bros
"Indeed it was broseph" responded another.
"You never forget your first time" said a third bro, as they all giggled like idiots
After looking at the time, they all decided to call it a night, with promises to one day repeat this. Not all of them got the raid exclusive gear you can get from the chests. Heck some of them only got shards and energy. As two of the bros kept rubbing it in Woofington's face all throughout the raid that they had Heart of the Praxic Fire and didn't even care for it, Woofington raged but ultimately he smiled because he...

There really should be a way to avoid doing crucible for weapon chain quests by having a PVE equivalent. Don't stick people into PVP that don't want to, it only leads to bad things.

Grats? Not trying to be a jerk but it isn't hard to hit X level. But if you are trying to get a specific stat set (I'm going for Int/Disc/Auto Rifle as a Lock) guess what you have to PvP.
All 3 Faction vendors are tied to PvP, don't act like it isn't needed, it is straight up pushed in your face. I'm locked out of 4 of the 5 vendors in the game (which is one of the better ways to get gear) if I do not PvP. It's Bullshit.

Amen. I managed to get Bad Juju done because it's just a grind, but the shotgun for example i had to abandon the quest because i literally couldn't complete it.

A huge portion of the game is this way, it isn't even the exotic quests. PvP is the best way to obtain specific pieces of gear because you have 4 vendors to pick from. PvE players get 1 vendor to pick from.
It is worse than the Leg Cloak from WoW that required a PvP component.

I agree, this is a very odd design decision, especially considering the non-Crucible factions will gain rep from Vanguard Rep, yet they have no items to purchase with Vanguard Marks. They should have made FWC,DO and NM have one gear set sale for Vanguard Marks and another set for Crucible Marks. Why else sale two sets per faction?
Vanguard and Crucible vendors can remain exclusive.

Between Suros Regime and the titan chest, Chest of Alpha Lupi, which is better? Revive teammates faster on the chest seems very desirable, and the slower more powerful shots on the Suros seem like a negative.
Are the 3 bonuses on the exotic gear fixed or random? Will every Suros Regime in the game always have those 2 abilities?

Yep. The 3 factions should take Vanguard Marks or Crucible Marks as currency, that would solve my issue 100%. Then I wouldn't be AFKing in PvP.

It's true. And I completely hate the PvP even though I play and enjoy almost every multiplayer shooter. It's just a chaotic mess. But, hey, if people enjoy it then great, I'm just saying I don't and I wish they didn't force it down your throat.
