Well I finally acquired 23 mote of light and used it on an exotic helmet enagram. This is what I ended up getting:

Mine has 101 Strength. Kinda sucks that it gives strength and not Intellect. Is it still good anyway for my Warlock?

I have this. It's okay. I dismantled it though since I never used it, I have little reason to use Strength, and I didn't want to level another helmet.

I think this one is better for Voidwalkers specced into Surge after using their special melee.

Just Helm and Chest, but that will get you comfortably to 26 with a little upgrade love.

Folks rolling new toons, are you rolling the same class as your main, or are you rolling a different class?

Right now, I'm thinking it may be better to roll another Warlock so I can get it to level 20, then pass my gear over from my main so the alt can be level 28-29 immediately. This way, I'll be able to do everything twice, and get gear both can use, but at double the rate.

However, I do want the Hunter and Titan trophies....

Different class. Variety, PvP, Any gear not for my class can go to an alt.

You guys weren't kidding about that first upgrade Suros nerf. The rate of fire in zoom is dead. Pretty much an automatic scout rifle now.

Should still be a great weapon once fully upgraded though.

I've been revisiting my reluctance to create a new character.
But if I did make a new character... It would be of the same class :\
Have to hit that raid multiple times a week to really gear up.

You know what this game needs? A Horde Mode. That way, people that hate (or suck at) PvP can still earn Crucible points. The fact that all 3 factions are Cucuble based is kinda crap for PvE players.

The fact that the only way to get to 30 is though PvE is kinda crap for PvP players.

Raid went well considering we had a couple of guys who never did it before, got up to the final battle. I'll be hosting it again sometime tomorrow roughly at the same time 8pm GMT ish, maybe earlier.

For PVP I use fusion grenades and gift of the sun coupled with Voidfang Vestment so that I always spawn with two grenades, the fusion grenades stick easily to guardians if you aim half-decently. For PVE it's solar grenades and sunbreakers plus the perk that makes grenades ignite, that way the solar grenades stay on screen for a long-ass time while causing big damage, good for enemy clusters.

I'm spacing what the Voidfang Vestment is but yes, I tried PvP for first time in full version of game and was sticking people I swap between fire grenades and fusion in PvE depending on if it's trash mobs or if I think there will be a lot of yellow bar enemies/bosses.

Oh, I was thinking you could do spaces, my bad. It's just SquallASF then. I'm actually not on at the moment, going to shower and clean the house a bit first but I will be on most of the night until unreasonable hours ;P I'm PST btw, can't remember if you live on East Coast.

Actually I swap talents out depending on what I'm doing. If I'm patrolling or fooling around, I stack agility. If I'm raiding, I prioritize armor and recovery. PvP, depends on how I feel but mostly I stack agility be mobile. However, I also tend to use Fusion Grenade in PvP, but that or solar works. I'd like to mess with Firebolt. Never tried it before.

I pretty much have Fireborn on all the time, but I'll sometimes use Radiant Skin.

Focused Burst and and Balanced Glide? Up to you. I stay with Focused Burst to get huge hangtime.

Flame Shield is my must.

Radiant Will and Viking Funeral are both good. However Viking Funeral + Solar Grenades + Touch of Flame is pretty damn nasty. This allows your grenades to do their initial damage as well as produce DOTs on enemies even if they're running out of the grenade blast radius.

Gift of the Sun makes Radiance radiant IMO. However, like I said above, a case can be made for Touch of Flame. Angel of Light is okay, but I think it lacks compared to the other two.

Man, didn't think of boosting agility for when I farm helium nodes, nice idea! So you don't go with Toughness at all costs all the time outside patrols? I hear this can be the most tanky class in the game or at least top 2 and that would be crucial to make it so. I would think it worth it if you can tank that hard. I'm learning that attribute right now and plan on switching to it when I finish. I don't consider agility that important in PvE and doubt I'd need it much in PvP either since I prefer ranged rifles.

Fireshield all day, don't even have to consider that one. Fireborn for raids too? Ok, I'll do the same when I finally get to try it. Going with the skin for regular PvE and PvP fair. I haven't even remembered to use Raidance most times because I can't do much with it yet. As soon as I get Gift of the Sun, that will change! I did see that video of the guy wrecking with solar grenades, maybe I shouldn't do fusion every time in PvP but it's a blast sticking people. Might change it based on the objective like flames for control. I think that will be the decider on viking or longer Radiance, if I'm using flame nades or fusion nades as viking is pointless with the latter (at least if I'm going with Gift of the Sun).

Re: Suros... meh. I bought it but can take it or leave it. It gives up some advantages from my Shadow Price that I miss when rolling with it -- both in PVE and PVP.

Concerning exotics being sold vs dropped I don't really care either way. I only really use it in PVE, but the Ice Breaker has been the weapon that makes my character feel the most powerful. I could care less about feeling "special" for getting it from a legendary engram and would rather everyone be given a chance to experience it if they choose to.

Concerning the Pocket Infinity, has anyone tried using it yet? Any pros or cons to give? I haven't touched it since finishing its bounty.

Yup. That's what the lockout applies to.
