Trying to rank up the Grimoire Card for patrols is annoying. It only counts the VIP missions so I'm running around getting a patrol mission and abandoning them right away if its not my star thing and moving into the next section to see if there's any there.
If anybody has any locations where patrol missions are mainly VIP target missions, letting me know would be great.

I don't think Bungie intended for people to make PE's appointments. They probably just wanted them to seem random.
Yea I shouldn't have included public events. In-game lfg would be really fantastic though. Some kind of bulletin board or anything similar would be a great addition imo.

no you get a post master item per day for doing a gold tier public event, but you can farm them and they'll still randomly drop ascendant things

As a former big WoW player, I really recommend taking a break instead of hating the game from feeling like it's a chore. If anything just do the weekly things in Destiny and come back in a bit

I got really burned out on the game and quit playing for three or four days. That's all it took for me to get excited about it again.

I've been playing through the story a second time on my first alt and I can't but feel depressed at the story of the game. It had so much potential to tell an amazing story and Bungie just completely dropped the ball, without question. The most baffling thing to me is that I remember some cut scenes from trailers that didn't even make it into the final game. For example, the part where the Speaker is talking to the Guardian about prepping for war or the Queen's brother asking why half the city is breathing down his neck. Why the hell did Bungie think it was a good idea to cut those scenes?
And now, with Destiny, I already find myself scaling back time. Sure, it's fun to do PvP and I'll do the weekly raid/nightfall, but beyond that I don't see myself spending the hours into I thought I would. It's disappointing that I'm already at that point a few weeks into launch. Bungie really dropped the ball out of gate. They're going to have to do a hell of a lot better than they've been doing the past few weeks over the next month. If they're still spinning heels when November and every game hits, Destiny's popularity is going to tank hard.

It increases the speed of everything, including strafing. I keep a balance of armor and agility on my titan, and both of my guns have an agility +2 perk, so I actually outrun most of the hunters I play with.
Granted, if you go all out with armor, you can actually take 3 headshots from a Big Chief before dieing instead of just 2. Not so in my case, however.

Got the "Light Beyond Nemesis" helm from Xur's exotic engram, and it is dope as hell. But I already have fully upgraded Sunbreakers and I'm not sure I want to upgrade more exotic gear right now because getting shards is kind of a pain in the ass.
Pretty sure I'm you go switch exotics, because the sunbreakers have perks for the sunsinger which I rarely use anyway.

So those with the "sprint" problem, mine was getting progressively worse. I decided to try another controller and it's essentially fixed.
Essentially... I still get small delays where it doesn't "take" but I no longer get canceled out of my sprints for no particular reason.

I thought it was my controller until it was doing the same thing while I was remote playing in my vita. I'm starting to think it's a bug. Sucks to hear this is happening to other people.

Yeah it stills feels unresponsive, but I think in my case it was especially bad because my L3 was malfunctioning simultaneously.
It was at the point where I was incapable of sprinting for longer than a couple seconds.

Was a bit bummed out about that upgrade myself. Not sure why they keep making that fire rate upgrade a permanent one. I want it firing at full right not slower. Is it even worth upgrading it through the material upgrades?I don't like it (I'm upgrading it right now) because it is too slow

I noticed that! People would get oh so close to getting 2-shotted by my big chief while others didn't. I switched to the silvered maverick for all the other gains and it drops in 3 headshots. I basically figured if 3 headshots required are most situations, I might as well get a better fire rate/stability/reload

I think the sprint issue is simply clicking the sprint button too much too fast, it pretty much 'locks' you out of sprinting for a bit. Atleast, that's been my experience.
Yea I'm thinking it might be some kind of invisible sprint cooldown, but I swear sometimes I'm able to sprint back to back without any problems.
